Is my character bugged? How come I have such low AC comparing with a Wizard/Warlock

What is your defense? Mine is completely maxed out (Along with Parry, Crushing and Peircing) and im sitting at about 4300 AC. If you click on my sig you can see my gear (Although some of it hasnt updated properly - belt and rings are different)I know another necro who is sitting about about 2500 but his defense is only like 168 even though his gear is comparable.EDIT - 164 (I asked him)<p>Message Edited by Jakanden on <span class=date_text>02-22-2005</span> <span class=time_text>04:38 AM</span>

I have low skills in both, 165 and 141 respectively. No wonder my AC is so low. Time to skill up on those. Any tips to gain these skills, would appreciate if you could share, thanks.<BR>

Go find a mob of low greys (around 28-30) and cast a spell to pull em all then just put on auto attack (no spells and don't let your pet assist) and sit there. If you get low on HP, do your group AoE lifetap to bring it back some or use your single target lifetap on a mob. After they all run out of power (find melee groups, not caster groups) then just watch the defensive points start to roll in.That's how I did it, but now I keep my defense maxed.

My 33 illusionist has higher AC. I don't think you could possibly be just not high enough in those skills (you have much better AC equipment than I do and almost the same skills)...gotta be more at work here...

<DIV>AC is now raised to 4300 with 14 more skills to go defense skill to go (parry maxed out). Seems after 200 skills, 1 additional skill add a lot more AC than before. Hopefully can hit 4600 to 4700 AC with 2 more new pieces of amour from the guild tailor.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My tactic for raising both parrying and defense skills is a little different. Will be a waste of time doing grey unless for quest. I solo green/blue solo mobs without my pet assistance. (pet stay or pet follow command, unless the pet is being hit by an AE), skill increase pretty fast this way and you get exp along the way.</DIV>

I don't solo so have been slacking horribly on the defense boosts... been fighting the same lvl 30 orc in Zek for the last 45 minutes trying to raise my defense.  AC's gone from 2500 to 3100 so far, the defense skill was certainly the problem... now I won't feel as guilty drawing agro =).</DIV>

As stated above - once your defense goes over 200 you start seeing larger AC returns so expect it to jump soon =)
