<DIV>Im a lvl 20 necromancer who is very tired with Fallen Gate and its leveling problems and really need a break from grouping. I learned this with this character and with my alt who is an SK. Can any of you higher level necros tell me off a good place to solo hunt. </DIV>

<DIV>Look in Tundering Steeps for solo mobs. There are a TON and they give very good xp. Its also easy to get random xp groups to kill mobs outside too.</DIV>

<DIV>Depending on your lvl, try out the skeles in the forest near RoV. I'm not sure about grouping in RoV for xp though. There are definitely mobs at the front of the zone that a low 20s group can kill, but on my server I never see any low 20s groups forming to kill th em.</DIV>
<DIV>I am a soloist. I am giving away all my best soloing secrets here... but what the heck. I might as well share. So, you are evil, and want to grind for XP, eh? These MOBs are either ALL Solo, or have enough Solo's among them to keep you going steadily. Only the Giant Vulriches, and Dragoon Sentries are aggro, and will take a little planning. However, they are aggro only to you... NOT your pet. Get the picture? As you feel ready, progress to the next MOB, and this progression will take you through level 30.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Giant Vulriches (birds) - Commonlands</DIV> <DIV>Cackling Cadavers (skellies) - Nektulos Forest (near Commonlands zone)</DIV> <DIV>Nerius Crabs - Nektulos Forest (near the docks)</DIV> <DIV>Dragoon Sentry (skellies) - Nektulos Forest (around the Funeral Pyre)</DIV> <DIV>Aillurian (not sure of spelling) Fairies - Nektulos Forest (around Bone Lake)</DIV> <DIV>Salt Snappers (turtles) - Enchanted Lands (near the docks)</DIV> <DIV>Vailtail Trout (fish) - Enchanted Lands (in the streams)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>To boost you XP even higher, get some of the quests in those areas that require killing these MOBs. Heck, if you are killing them anyway, you might as well pick up a little more XP, and a little coin in the process.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Good Hunting!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>Daarth, thanks for the great info on soloing. I my self truly enjoy soloing. I was a soloist in EQ1 and in SWG. Not that I am an anit-social, but soloing allows me to develop my roleplaying skills so that when in contact with others I can play the role im developing. Soloing also is a nice break from things, a chance to relax after a hard days work. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My only request of the devs would be to add more solo quests, perhaps even make some of the AQ quests solo. Soloing requiers skill and patience. The soloist needs to understand his pets abilities and his spells. Getting out of a very close call soloing because you in the heat of battle thought of a new tactic is very gratifying.</DIV>
<DIV>Morgoth,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>You and I share many same views on soloing. What makes me an efficient mage in a group, is the extensive practice, and experimentation, during soloing. You are welcome for the info. Enjoy your soloing, and honing your skills. Good Hunting!</DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Courier New" size=2>Right past the bridge into Nek from CL there is an NPC to the west whose name starts with "J", Jovon maybe? He gives repeatable quests for mobs in Nek and pays ok money for completing the quests. All the quests I have received so far are of the "kill 10 of this mob" variety. You can delete quests for mobs you cannot fight and just get a new one from him until you get something you can do.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face="Courier New" size=2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face="Courier New" size=2>I would recomend Skellies, kodiaks, and rumbleroots (which he calls root horrors).</FONT></DIV>
