I know your tired of Upgrade Questions

<DIV>I am level 24.5 with my only adept 3 spell the tier 2 Dust Blast.  I have a rare tier 3 mineral and from reading all the posts I am not sure if I should upgrade the UA (app 1 - I have the level 20 hero) or hold it until 29 and use it for Pest Blast.  The only adept 1s I have are Petrify, Seism, and Grim Spellbinder (I should probably hit the markets more often).  Thanks in advance for any advice</DIV>

<DIV>SoR would be way up on my list.  It has drawbacks, but if you are tangling with big mobs, you can't beat the 1500-1600+ damage they will do.  Rats aren't for every mob.  They are for special occasions and they kick [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot].  That coupled with the fact that the others mentioned at least have Adept Is freely (and cheaply!) available makes SoR a serious consideration.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I held off on rats until 31 when a necro mob in Nektropos Castle tossed his bloated rat on me - then I understood how nice they were.  And at 33 it is still a white spell...</DIV> <P><SPAN class=time_text></SPAN> </P><p>Message Edited by Seeko on <span class=date_text>01-22-2005</span> <span class=time_text>11:49 AM</span>

<DIV>I'm not saying either that I regret using it... I like SoR's a lot... It's just annoying that SOE hasn't fixed the bug yet.  It's quite good for long fights... You can easily expect to have the one of the highest overall DPS grouped in any encounter that lasts like 3 minutes or more just by having a good pet and swarm.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Don't quote me on it... but it is quite efficient against the high HP double arrow mobs in group situations... Though a simple mob PBAE or cone will kill them all in one shot (even at Ad3).</DIV>
