Some thoughts/questions after the first 25 levels

Why cant the lvl 24 Zombie hold aggro, does he know how to taunt? Hey,I have to agree with all that you have said, the 24 pet is pretty lame at app, better to stick with level 20 pet adept until you get the adept of the 24 pet, that might make it better.

To start, if you want the pet to hold better agro, dont use the offensive stance ( Agitation ),... I can't remember but now you must have something like Protective Brace... or some defensive pet buff that increases hate gain... this will help you alot. <div></div>

<P>I found the 20's to be pretty annoying for necros until I realized one thing: tactics.</P> <P>Always have you defensive pet buff on, try to upgrade higher than app2 get at least app4, always give your pet a few moments to do some damage, first attack should be a DoT, at abought MoB half health unload, do not foget your rats! i shyed away from using them for a loooong time because of the recast timer, I wanted to make sure they were there in an emergency, big mistake, they are awsome.</P> <P>basicaly take it easy till you get a rythym going, and hang tough necro is a blast all the way through but really shines at 30+.</P> <P>also learn how to use your heals, lifetaps and pet health-mana conversions, once you can juggle these you can chain pull blue or white mobs non-stop with very little resting, makes for some real fast leveling.</P> <p>Message Edited by cavv on <span class=date_text>11-29-2005</span> <span class=time_text>06:13 PM</span>
