<DIV>Anyone noticed if green heroic named mobs seem MUCH harder than before the update?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Prior to the update, Lord Rulgax was with an 8 level difference (you can guess my level :p) was doable with exactly the same equipment/spells and with me healing my Tellurian Vet... sorry Avenger. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>After the update, tried quite a few times and I can't quite place what has changed (not just xp gain that im referring to) but my pet is dying in just a few hits with healing NOT able to keep him alive long enough. Now Rulgax seems as hard as he was when he was blue con (E.g. me and pet dead for sure).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'm NOT against change - whether it be to make mobs stronger or us weaker (if the end results are justified) - but it would be nice to be told if things do change...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My casts/buffs are the usual on the pet with Volative Haven at Master II and 2.5 in pet defence so far (before and after update).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>On the other hand - non named heroics seem to be doable just as before. Quite strange to be sure.</DIV>

Sometimes a named can just be harder. Either more crits, better defense, or he just had his Wheaties that day.

Last night after the update it was definitely noticeable that I couldn't get him to 50% despite my best efforts (I gave up after 4 attempts) before I passed on from this mortal coil... well, my character at least :p</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As an aside, some mobs even when turning grey present a hefty challenge. Call me slow, but I'd had the Bloodline Chronicles quests for ages and upon the last couple of named mobs (only just gone grey mind as they were 40 to my 51) certainly surprised me with how hard they hit.... the first, rather large vampire boss in the Crypt of Thaen sure knows how to cast heavy despite being grey. I reckon he was using the "grey no challenge" label as a cover... deception to fool an unwary adventurer such as I.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>/end of aimless rambling.</DIV>
