<div>On monday night I levelled to 32 just before I logged. Last night I logged in and went to splitpaw only to find my Tellurian Soldier struggled even against single enemies. As usual I went into the medium difficulty instance, meaning all enemies were white or yellow to me. This has never been a problem before, but last night I failed Harclave and the 'joke' and nearly failed the arena which previously I could do with my eyes shut. I have never levelled this high before, so is this just normal that the tank pet is so weak at this level or has something changed?</div><div> </div><div>Thanks in advance</div>
<div></div><p>I can tell you that with my tank pet, with grouped whites or yellows, it was always very hard to keep him alive long enough to kill them all. With singles not too bad but grouped mobs [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] near imposible.. even with blue grouped mobs it was a challange. What I do now is root one off the bat and then another. Then fight the remaining 1 or 2 and then take on the rooted ones.</p><p>What level is/are your pet and stances?</p>

<div></div>Adept 1 on both. The broker is pretty empty on Darathar due to it being a new server. I am trying to harvest the rares myself so that a guildy can scribe better versions for me.
<div></div><p>Ok, once you get your pet and Defensive stance at Adept III or higher, things should be better for ya.. Also, you get a new tank pet at 38 I believe. I always Master II my defensive stance when possible as I solo almost exclusively.</p><p>I keep all my spells at Adept III or better. Harvest your [Removed for Content] off and get those Adept III's made.. and you can take my advice or leave it but rooting a mob or two while killing the other two just makes the fight more manageable. With and Adept I root spell, I have no problems parking mobs, just dont nuke/dot/stun the rooted ones at all until you are ready to sick your pet on them. Give your pet a few seconds to build some aggro then nuke/dot/stun away !!</p><p>Hope this helps..</p>

<div>Thanks it does. I do try to do the same thing (although I have been known to get trigger happy with my nukes on occasion). It just seemed wierd to have to respawn my pet so many times over the few hours i was playing. I wasn't sure if it had something to do with the fact they I got the air pet at 32 and that was why the soldier felt so much weaker.</div>
<div></div><p>Also keep in mind that they did change the way mobs fight now.. They will use their class abilities correctly now and in some cases they were not using them at all.. So for example a Berserker type mob will go Beserk now etc.. That may have something to do with what you are seeing. </p><p>Cya! </p>
