Low Level Pet Spells

I just started playing a conjuror and something has been bothering me.  Is there ever a good reason to use my low level pets instead of my most recent level pet of the same element?For example, is there ever a good reason to use a Tellurian Recruit instead of a Tellurian Soldier?<div></div>

<div></div><p>No, not really.</p><p>If you have a Master version of a low level, it will be better than the next line at Adept for a while....but that's about it.</p>
