I think the best thing for you to do is spend a little while scouring the posts on the Summoner's Tower.  Everything you need will be there:http://eq2.eqsummoners.com/index.php<div></div>

<div></div><div>Nice to see another guardian got bored of those 2+ minute fights with green creatures. Anyways welcome to the world of mages and quick battles. Yes the conjour class is Int based it increases not only their total power but also their spell damage. For armor you don't need to worry about migration because your pet will be all the meat shield you need, so just go for int boosting armor as well.</div><div> </div><div>For other stats they don't really matter to much, str increases your physical damage but you won't be meleeing anything. Stamina increase total HP but you won't be getting hit other then the very rare AOE. Agility increases avoidance but again you won't be getting hit. Wisdom increases... well wisdom doesn't do all that much for any class other then the cleric ones where it increases power.</div><div> </div><div>Also another note you will find playing a mage class is a ton cheaper due to not having to buy both master 1s and high level armor. Keep it simple buy master 1s for your pets and don't waste to much on armor with stats other then int. Other then that your pretty much good to go.</div>

aye the only time u do get hit is when A. ur pet ditches u in a fight and doesnt take aggro. or B. ur in a grp and ur pet dies because ur tank sucks and cant keep aggro. Thats when those quick launch spells and agi really come into play. Also alot of times u urself can be a MT of a grp if u have a healer that will heal ur pet.<div></div>

Oh yea one more thing, at character select, what race should I pick for the highest intelligence? Also would like higher Stamina/agility if possible but intelligence is my main concern..Is there a place where I can see what the actual starting stats are for each race?Sorry for being a pest lol..Thanks<p>Message Edited by Trook on <span class="date_text">02-04-2006</span><span class="time_text">09:12 AM</span></p>

I have a detailed guide on race selection <a href="http://eq2.eqsummoners.com/viewtopic.php?t=49" target="_blank">Here</a>. My highest recommendations if you are looking for a heavy-INT race is Erudite, Gnome, Dark Elf, and Ratonga in that order (though Ratonga and Dark Elf would have to betray). Heavy STA would be Troll, Dwarf, Barbarian, and Ogre. Highest average of STA and INT is Erudite, Gnome, Dark Elf, and Human. I myself play a Dark Elf, and other than being required to betray to be a Conjuror and slightly lower STA than other races, there are no negatives worth speaking of.Conjurors are an INT class through and through. The more INT, the more spell damage you will crank out. STA helps a bit to boost your hit points, but it is not significant enough to sacrifice INT over.AGI, STR, and WIS are all tertiary stats for a Conjuror, with STR being the least valuable of the five. When selecting gear, you can practically ignore Mitigation. Because our armor is the equivalent of paper, you might as well wear nothing as far as mitigation goes. I personally either go for something with a lot of INT, or a good balance of INT, HP, and Power. Because Mitigation is practically worthless to us, if opens up a lot more options as far as gear goes that a Guardian wouldn't have. For example, if you find something with more INT than what you're wearing, but it is grey, you would still want the grey equipment for the stats.
