Tried to look around the new sol eye...God I hope a new game comes out soon....1) gray fallen solusek ghosts were aggroing my pet....not me, my pet.  Very nice...2) So far, every mob that's been green to me (at 60) has seen through my invis.3) they still having fixed a lot of the bugs with mobs hiding in the zone walls, being invis to some players, etcGeese, Go Go expansion!  $$$$$<div></div>

<div></div><blockquote><hr>Twofeets wrote:God I hope a new game comes out soon....<div></div><hr></blockquote><p>Hope you will enjoy it when it does. Other than that, totally useless comment.</p><blockquote><hr>Twofeets wrote:1) gray fallen solusek ghosts were aggroing my pet....not me, my pet.  Very nice...<div></div><hr></blockquote><p>Where you grouped with a lower level? Solo? How come they aggroed your pet? (pet are normally indifferent) Did changing pet stance made any difference? Any other action/abnormality could have caused that?</p><blockquote><hr>Twofeets wrote:2) So far, every mob that's been green to me (at 60) has seen through my invis.<hr></blockquote><p>So it was stated that there would be alot more see-invis mobs, especially all varieties of Scouts-type mobs. Every one? Weird.</p><blockquote><hr>Twofeets wrote:3) they still having fixed a lot of the bugs with mobs hiding in the zone walls, being invis to some players, etc<hr></blockquote><p>Not sure if you are meaning "have" or "haven't". Given the general tone of your post, I will assume the later. And, as stated elsewhere in the Forums, this is not something that can be solved easily, more on a case-per-case location basis. Every MMORPG has pathing issues to a greater or lesser extent.</p><blockquote><hr>Twofeets wrote:Geese, Go Go expansion!  $$$$$<hr></blockquote><p>Team working on the Expansion and team working on revamping zones, just like thoses working on Arts, Sounds, Tradeskills, Mob AI, Networking, etc. are all different ressources, thus getting an expansion on the market didn't affect the work of the other teams.</p>

<div></div><div></div>Oh, Joy, pet also aggros some other mobs as well.  Guess pet pulling was overpowered ;/And in answer to the previous post, I was solo.  I wasnt in combat.  I was simply running through the zone.   There were no other players, no combat whatsoever, nearby.  So yes, its either a new bug, or yet another unannounced nerf.Oh, and my comment about the expansion...I dont care what team works on what, its still a matter of SOE's priorities.  They rush to put out new content because that's what makes money.  Meanwhile, they fail to fix existing issues. <div></div><p>Message Edited by Twofeets on <span class="date_text">02-03-2006</span><span class="time_text">12:50 PM</span></p><p>Message Edited by Twofeets on <span class="date_text">02-03-2006</span><span class="time_text">12:52 PM</span></p>

I was playing around in SE and I noticed that gray mobs were attacking my pet.  I'm level 59 and I was using my level 46 scout pet.  My guess is that the mobs are seeing the spell level instead of my level.  I bugged it.  Which is what other should do if it happens to them...instead of threating to leave.<div></div>

<div></div>The game is considering the pet as a lower lvl member of the group and with the update they aggro any mob that would normally aggro them. No more "graying out" zones. Its a bug because the pet should not ne a group member.

<div>I was in Sol Eye yesterday and my pet was attacked, so I just assumed it was because the spell was a lower level and dismissed him.  Today I decided to go and see if there was anything I could do to stop them from agroing the pet.</div><div> </div><div>I tried all three pets (48, 52, 60) in both offensive and defensive stances.  They were attacked every time.  I also tried to toggle the protect me/yourself -- didn't make a difference.</div><div> </div><div>The interesting thing is that it isn't all grey mobs that attack.  I ran by some level 42 goblins in Lavastorm (that are agro at the appropriate level) with my fire pet up to see if it would draw their attention and it didn't.  I ran by the titans in Sol Eye, the Plated Fiends, the Effretti Soulsavers... the ONLY mobs that agro are the little ghosts -- the solusek miners, orbenders, diviners etc.</div><div> </div><div>There are a few of these ghosts on a platform right near the entrance to Sol Eye.  While I was targetting them and running by (to check their targets) I noticed that while sometimes they would target my pet and attack, there were also times when they would target the Quetszols and begin to run toward them, breaking off the encounter before they actually began combat.</div><div> </div><div>Not sure what any of this means, but I found it interesting... and if you'd like to keep your pet (and your life) in Sol Eye before this is fixed, just don't summon a pet until you're clear of the first elevator.</div>

<div></div>The only agro mobs that I've found so far were the ghosts in SE and it is confirmed that they were atking the pet and not me. Not really a problem at lvl 60 but it is irritating because everywhere I went in there I had to dismiss my pet. Kinda sucky but dealable at my lvl. I haven't looked into the see invis mobs yet cause after I hot SE I went to poet's palace epic raid where invis is pointless.

<div></div><p>I'm a 59 conj, and also experienced the same thing while i was trying to explore SE, my pet agrod everything I went by,,,all 2-5 lvls beyond grey to me. No red outline around name on con, had jboots on so was running past things only to have them agro my pet as he caught up.....as for the pet being lower lvl...I DISAGREE....the Con of any PC is equal to ( LVL ) double up....pets are equal to ( LVL ) single up ....they are just a lesser con of equal lvl.........so in other words Conj's are now forced to kill grey mobs just to move around ! Its true with lvl 60 pet aswell. So now for me to go anywhere I have to kill pet, roam around, raise pet " whos casting time is a blistering 10secs", buff pet with Conj Insig, Of Stance, Flameshield, Blazing Seed, and Blazing Presence; cast time approx 10 more secs......and after all that gently tuck my head between my legs and kiss my [Removed for Content] goodbye because my pet agros every grey mob in sight, and I have suddenly become Sagian X3 mini epic NPC raid target! Now comes the really fun part, the pet doesnt even listen half the time when you find yourself lucky enough to only see one mob in a zone. So now that we cant even walk outside alone, we are now cursed to be the reason any group we so happen to bless will spend half their time either waiting on me to raise another pet, or killing grey mobs for absolutely no reason other than ME aka. my pet. This is a Frikin Insult to anyone who has spent the time, effort, and money to build a character to 59, my class is now physically and socialy handicapped! Regardless of whether or not its an intended effect, it will take days before they fix it, so while all my other friends get to go on raids and progress their char I'm forced to sit aside or start an alt and go through the wonderus experience of the new character progression and all the joys of being KOS to eveything all over again. GEEZ THNKS</p>

It is ONLY the miners in SE, so at least it's not a major problem. However, they have been made aware of it.<div></div>

<div>Seems the undead gnomes in SolEye aggro any pet they see, from the word of other Conjurors and Necromancers I met.</div><div> </div><div>If you are lucky, you can also see them attacking the Stone Golems and the Effrettis. I have yet to succeed at getting them close enough to the Spiders or the Gnolls.</div><div> </div><div>Seems they have a built-in script to aggro anything that is not a PC, or another undead gnome.</div>

<div></div><div>i've recognized that too (the grey mobs attacking my pet)</div><div>and yes, i'm level 60 and they're atacking all my pets... when i walk by without pet.. no problem... with pet, it gets attacked, invis doesn't help.</div><div>oh but maybe it's just because the little dead guys are attacking the other mobs around... those quetzols and the little crawlers... and just cannot make out any difference between them and my pet <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> (so the programmers possibly just forgot to make a difference between nsc mobs and players' pets...like loralor already said)</div><p>Message Edited by Shinaya on <span class="date_text">02-20-2006</span><span class="time_text">08:38 AM</span></p>
