<div>Since LU19, when the pet kills the mob, it no longer says whose pet killed it!</div><div> </div><div>For example:</div><div> </div><div>When my pet gets the last hit, it USED to say <strong>Xonaner <Lise's whatever> has killed <em>insert mob name. </em></strong></div><div><strong></strong> </div><div>Now it says <strong>Xonaner has killed <em>insert mob name.</em></strong></div><div><strong></strong> </div><div> </div><div> </div><div>Is anyone else upset about this? I liked it before LU19 so the people (who cared to look) could recognize how much DPS we provide to the group in the form of our pet.</div><div> </div><div>Just a little something I needed to pick at. :smileyhappy:</div>
Doesn't show us on combat spam either. It's been reported before, they know already, so just be patient for a fix <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

<div>And it doesn't show up on parsers like Combat Stats.</div><div> </div><div> </div><div>There is a work around if you want to see your combined damage (con+pet). Rename your pet to exactly your character name. Interestingly enough this includes swarm pets which have NEVER shown up on Combat Stats. </div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div>

I updated CS and tried parsing just my Aqueous Hunters and Pyrotechnic and ended up with a 0DPS. It may now, but I've already switched to Advanced Combat Tracker <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></span></div>
<div></div>Speaking of swarm pets, Ive noticed their first attack is grey damage when watching the damage colour above the monster's head (as though the system thinks its from someone outside the encounter) using new rules I presume this slightly reduces the chance of loot dropping?(For the sake of clarity for people to test it, I renamed my pet - then did another /rename so my swarm pets would have a random name)<div></div><p>Message Edited by Kazzah on <span class="date_text">02-03-2006</span><span class="time_text">07:13 AM</span></p>

<div></div>I've noticed that too. But it only happens sometimes for me.

<p>IMO, good riddance to all that useless text. I'll be real happy when I can look at my pet and just see "George," instead of "George Faylines tellurian whateveritis".</p><p>I know it would be a problem for those who parse, but if they could keep this useless text out of the game world and only in the log file like they have done with the /hitsmode, that'd be perfect.</p>

I think when the client doesn't know what caused the damage, it just attributes it to 'Unknown'(at least in the log). And when coloring floating numbers, it just shows that as grey. I can only assume that the server knows better where the damage came from and it won't affect loot.</span><div></div>
