<div></div><div></div><div>Very soon I'll have levelled my Conj/Sage to the point where he acquires the Igneous Adept (1 level away in adv and 3 in crafting).</div><div> </div><div>I've seen people offering the Master 1 version of this pet for over 1p, which might be cheap to some but is a heck of a lot to me.</div><div> </div><div>Question, after looking through the FAQ and in particular the Conjuror Adept III recommended spells link, I'm wondering if it's worth paying that large amount of coin for a Master 1 over the Adept III?</div><div> </div><div>I have the rare so could make myself one when my crafting level allows, but is the Master 1 significantly better to be worth paying that much for?</div><div> </div><div>Undoubtedly, if the Master 1 is the gargoyle type that is depicted in the pics - it is most certainly "cool" but is it's dmg output worth it I'm thinking... decisions like this I hate....</div><div> </div><div>edits: repetition <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div><p>Message Edited by Krelor on <span class="date_text">01-31-2006</span><span class="time_text">12:38 PM</span></p>
<div></div><div></div><p>Adept 3 is definitely sufficient, especially for this pet... If you harvest the rare (or get it as a drop), your only cost will be whatever combine fee your Sage charges.</p><p>Considering that the pet is upgraded at level 49 and (theoretically) again at level 63, I don't think 1p is worth it, for a T4 spell with two later upgrades. Though, if you had to buy the rare, or buy the adept 3 outright, it depends on what the cost of the spell would be... If you're going to pay more than 60g-70g for an adept 3, you might as well shell out the extra for the master. I typically charge 40g for T4 adept 3 spells on Permafrost, though I don't know how that compares on your server... If you're on Permafrost, I can make it for you... as soon as I find that bloody Advanced Sage book that nobody ever has for sale...</p><p>Message Edited by Jgok on <span class="date_text">01-31-2006</span><span class="time_text">10:15 AM</span></p>

48 and 62 actually. I think 1 plat is about right for the pet if you will do heavy grouping.

<div></div>Depends on how long you will use it. I didn't bother with any masters unless they were really cheap, because as an alt I was blowing though the levels. If you are taking it slow and will use it for a long time, it might be worth the investment.

Having thought about it and from what yourself and others have said here, I decided to go for it. I do group a lot to just help out but I dont also go all out on the xp'ing (I was 30 on my conj for about 8 months before gaining a few levels whilst building up other chars).</p><p>1p was the price in the end - yeah, it was a big chunk of my coin, but it will last me for a good while considering how slow I'll likely level.</p><p>Thanks for the advice all!</p><p> </p>
<div>good call,</div><div> </div><div>i waslucky enough to find cheap ish 7 master is in t4, and i beleive they helped a lot especially the fire pet who did wicked damage. had all my aoes master 1 too, so when soloing when all out aoe with great effect.</div><div> </div><div>There are zero t5 masters for sale for conjurers on my server permenantly <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div><div> </div>

Had a reply typed out that went as the forums went into maintenance <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div><div> </div><div>Anyways - I feel for you regarding the conjurer masters. The popularity of conjurers ensures high broker prices (well, on Splitpaw at least where I play) with only the rare bargain.</div><div> </div><div>Levelled to 34 and used that Master yesterday as a trial. With AdeptIII or better buffs on him too, all I could think is "wow..." watching his dmg output. Yes, he has low health which is fine by me as his dmg output more than makes up for that if he is "handled" with care as another poster said somewhere.</div><div> </div><div>Visually, I'd forgotten about the pet appearance changes so of course he wasn't the gargoyle I thought he was but that is minor for me. Only thing different that I could see was the staff from app1 to master 1.</div><p>Message Edited by Krelor on <span class="date_text">02-02-2006</span><span class="time_text">09:54 AM</span></p>
