I'm in class indecision phase, and I wanted to see what spells and what damage they do in App1,4, Adept3 and master line. Does anyone know a site I can go to that lists these for Wizard, Fury and Conj?Something along the lines of how EQ1 had lucy and castersrealm. Hard numbers.Thanks!tog.

There are 75 spells from 20 to 60 for Conjurors (not all are damage type thou). It is a huge task.

Apologies, didn't want to anger the mods. Thanks for the good information. I'll dig around and see what I can find. Makes it hard to find a class, not knowing what it can and can't do....Sure, one can find out what spell lines the classes get, but if I wanted to know what to expect from dmg for anything, now it's a toss up. I guess it's an innovative way of making the classes get the most of out gear, but I would feel crummy if I were a wizard / warlock and I found out that another class is nuking for more than I do, or meaning that I'm deficient in my int score or something.Perhaps that's just more of the old EQ1 mindset returning. I was never one to whine about things, but I would always like to know what to expect in some cases. Thanks again, and sorry about the previous mistake.

Atop most of classe's boards, there is a sticky FAQ... Reading thoses can give you a good nudge into knowledge of what the calss can and can't do.

Other than that, the best tip I can give if to look more into the class itself that "this guy nukes more than me" type, unless you are a true min/maxer. It is the best way to enjoy the game to the fullest.

With a normal account, you can have 6 characters. It is normally more than enough to try out various classes. If you need more, you can always create 6 more on Test server, or even 6 more on the UK server, and yet another 6 on the French server. If you shell out a bit more money per month, you can upgrade to the All-Access pass, and get 8 or 10 (don't remember) characters.

With all thees available slots, you are more than free to test out various classes, and find one that suits your playing style.

As another option, go to http://www.eq2idb.com and download the Item Database program. You can use that program to search for almost any itm in the game, including crafted or dropped spell scrolls. The http://www.eq2players.com website has spell names for all of the classes, so you can get a good comparison of which spells do what for how much damage.
