hey guys, for a while now i've been taking out the harpies (around the needle) in PoF as i mostyl solo ...it seems a good spot as you get solo groups and the chance of a named everynow and again. however, the xp on these are starting to dry up as i approach 55 and get to the same level as the critters. Can anyone suggest any decent solo spots at 54 (almost 55) conj?

Pillars, where you're at now, remains decent until you hit your high 50s. There are soloable creatures all the way up to level 58 if you look towards the southwest corner of the zone.You could also venture into Silent City and lay waste to the critters near the Sinking Sands zone in (you'll need back door access; get a group to get you into Silent City first).

Good ideas there Xal, thx. Still don't have Silent City access myself but I'll work on that. One thing I'm noticing is that on hitting 55+ I tend to be running into more Heroic grouped lvl 57+ mobs so the solo fare has become harder and harder to find. The best solution I've come-up with is hunting lower lvl mobs inside dungouns. (Or grouping of course.)

RG

Another good spot in PoF is the Sandcrawler camp up on a plateau. Solo mobs with some named spawns, ranging from lvl 57 to 59, IIRC. Only bad thing about this area is it's frequented by farmers/botters.

To get there, head out from the "entrance" camp in PoF to the valley w/ the deer, take a right past the ^^^ cats. Take your first right where you'll see some goblins and stay along the right-hand wall, looking for a path up the mountain.

I haven't ventured too far into the zones around SS yet, but this is what I've been hunting since 50 (mostly solo).

Kromtorrs (SP?) - 50^^^: good xp even up until 54, 55.

Raptors - 51^^^ and 52^^^ solo and groups: I was soloing these with relative ease by lvl 54 (well, the 52's were still a little tough). By 55, only the 52^^^ give me some trouble, mostly because half the time I forget to turn pet attack back on after pulling (doh!).

Hidden Cache: Heroic: Lots of 52^^^, 53^^^, 54^^^ solo and groups. I've been heading here occasionally (at 57). Since it's an instance there's no one to fight for mobs, and you can re-enter every 4 hours I think. There are some mobs that are too high, but you can keep yourself busy for quite a while with level appropriate stuff.

You could farm the goblin camps in the valleys POF. Named can spawn at any tent and there always craploads of mobs to kill, up to level 58 I believe.

You may need to double check this but af far as I have gathered, you get bonus XP for dungeons.I.e in the silent city or Living tombs, also theres lots of named around, not to mention the chance of dropping the cadaccus (the 40% pet heal staff) near the main entrance to LT.Im sure you could think of other dungeon zones if you put your mind to it *cough* Sanctorium *cough*Personally, I levelled very quickly from mid-late 50's doing GROUP Roost runs, Ancients table, cazels mese, hidden cache and poets palace, pretty much on a daily basis.Happy hunting.

Don't know about bonus dungeon xp, but you get group bonus. On the madrush to 60, I started soloing giants in SS, then went to LT, then went to SC in between harpies/cyclops groups. Right now my defiler is about 51, and I drag her around in SC or goblin camps in PoF if I'm more interested in just farming. Conjuror/Defiler duo doesn't seem to bad yet, can't wait until she gets to 60 though.

Shimmering Citadel, killing the solo djinn encounters was good xp for me. Not to mention there are a lot of quests inside here. Since you have invisible getting in and around shouldnt be too difficult if you are observant of your surroundings and avoid running into those that see through the spell.

Living Tombs for staff thats there..if you keep the enterance clear most players leave you alone there..they know what you are after and it saves them getting swarmed on entering the pool. Most are pretty decent about it. Staff is a real pain to get though..Conj/Necro only item..(Still trying..*sighs*)

* Silkwind - Runnyeye *
