Took me awhile to compile, but I now have some detailed info on the new spell progression for the 1-20 game. Check it out:http://www.eqsummoners.com/eq2/new-spells/I warn you though, it's extremely image heavy.(Edit: Fixed link)
Message Edited by Xalmat on 01-16-200601:09 PM

Needs to be stickied.I think there arent many replies to this. Simply because we dont know what to say. That must have been a ton of work

A lot of work on my end, yes. However for Conjurors, not many spells were actually changed; Necromancers got all the changes, Conjurors got relatively few by comparison.

Well Summoner was aimed at us more then the Necro's. Its the same with Crusader which is more aimed at the Paladin then at Shadowknights.

They wanted dead bodies not some stupid bug (or it used to be a bug, forget what it is now).

I am still under old spell set, but still, getting a centipede at level 10, and it staying a centipede sucks monkey [Removed for Content].

We are referring to the new spellset Cidal. Technically, under the current one, you don't have a level 1 pet!

Great work on this Just a few comments about the new stuffs....I made a Conjuror on Test to look around a bit. I love that you can start right out now, but the spells seem a bit unbalanced. Last I played through as a mage, I felt powerful right-out. Now, I get a spell that does 2-3 damage (if I remember correctly). Err... yeah... and the pet does 1-2 damage or so, too. I found that the only way I could kill many things was to melee, as that did as much (or more) damage than casting. I just felt... weak. Very weak. Also, the pet heal, though it heals a large amount, consumes 1/3 to 1/2 of my power. I think these need to be looked at.Oh, and Dust Blast is now a sword, like Spiked Rain used to be O.O That doesn't seem right! Dust... sword... *confused*Anyway, I think that these changes can be wonderful if done right. I'm loving the new armor looks, and I'm loving the new 1-6 quest progressions (haven't gone further). My two cents.

Actually I think thats more classes then Conjuror. I made a brigand and between faint and the poison they give you to start with. I feel very owerpowered. I had level 5 far quicker then I had ever done it on the old isle. Which comes as a suprise since some of the threads say that the content is group oriented. But i have yet to see anything in there that even at lvl 2 was a risk to me.This might be part of making the newbie feel stronger as part of the game. Or its just that they havent put everything back in line yet. Fient does 30-50 damage and my poison has a 1 in 4 chance to do the same. Now I know this isnt directly related to Conjuror. Im just showing it as a comparison to the way Conjuror is on TC

However, the question I have is how do i get a different pet type for my tellurian recruit. I thought it would come through upgrading to adept, but it didn't. Will it change?

Nope, per the Live Update 18 notes, pets try to stick to a specific monster model throughout their different ranks. (though not all pets are like this, such as the Igneous Apprentice and Igneous Magi). The only difference is that each rank offers a different model texture.

Also the damage on those posted pictures isn't really accurate. On level 1, your level 1 nuke does 12-15 or so. As you level up and your % of INT to max goes way down, the damage plumits into nothingness... but you get a new one on 7 to make up for it.

Yup, which is pretty much why I say don't pay much attention to the actual damage values.
