Whats the difrent between necro and conjurer?

Hello.. planing to make a alt.. kinda miss my necro.. but since im one of the good guys now i have to be a conjurer.so whats the difrent here.. is nerco more offencive or something?

Conujurors do more AE damage towards the end game, Necros from what I've seen are more single-target.<div></div>

I'v now played both a conjuror and necro to 35+, as I couldnt decide which to choose and one day I wanted a necro the next a conjuror so I decided to make both. I can't speak for some of the great abilities they each get later on (lich for necros and blazing presence for conjurors are the two I'm most looking forward to) but I'v noticed a few distinct differences between the two.Biggest difference for me is stuns/stifles with the conjuror that the necros lack, while the necros have lifetap DD that conjuror gets none of.Conjurors have much better aoe's, between the normal aoe, shattered line and pbae line you can decimate large groups of mobs, problem is if you use all those (shattered and pbae both have stun/stifles attached to them) and it does not kill them you might have some agro problems on your hands =)Conjurors pets, or rather buffs, seem to be better for tanking. My conj tank pet can handle things a little better at 35 than my necro could at 35.I wouldnt say conjurors do more damage at T4 atleast, both of mine have all adept III's, few important spells master I. Conjuror has more master I's though, about 6. In parses my conjuror does considerable amount of damage more in a group setting where I can use the mage pet, more so if its group encounters like in RE, less so if mostly single encounters like in RoV.While soloing with the tank pet though my necro has outstriped my conjuror in nearly all parses. I'm just guessing here but I believe most of the conjuror dps is pet dependant, while my necro dps seems to be spell damage.I decided to stick with my conjuror and only play my necro solo mostly when I sometimes feel like I want to actually get a bit of vitality on my conj =).<div></div>

I could take more nameds solo with my necro alt then I ever could before with my Conjuror, until I hit T6 and got the nice buffs like Blazing Presence and Elemental Vestment.</span><div></div>
