Yes, this seems to constantly happen in Scornfeather Roost. The pet just hauls [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] off to nowhere. It comes back literally a minute later. I think it is a horrible pathing bug limited to certain zones.

Message Edited by StaticLex on 01-03-2006 11:19 PM

This is a problem with the spell Sanctuary, I don't think it's specific to a zone. There is another spell also that does this, though the name escapes me at the moment. I want to say it's a SK spell.

Ok, the Sanctuary spell makes some sense, since it was normally against the harder fights that I would have an issue and I'm pretty sure the Templar in our group was casting that. I don't think it's zone specific... While I first noticed it in the Roost last night, I also got the message a time or two in Poets.

Thanks for the feedback on this, glad I'm not the only one getting this...

Thanks and Happy Hunting,
Amary

As stated ...the templar immune buff causes our pets to get scared a runs for momma....it happens all the time. It actually is when you attack and the immunity is on....if you don't attack my pet stays right next to me.

I thought there was a faction status for pets that caused this. If they die more then ten times a day the 11th kinda does a talk to the hand thing and wont listen. You have to wait until the faction status gets a little better before being able to control them again.

Important to note that it isn't "just" Sanctuary. There is an SK (I think) spell that does it as well. It happened to me a couple days ago with no Templar in the group, but I figured it was similar so I checked my buffs and sure enough, someone had cast something similar.

There is an SK spell called Death March (?) that does something similar to the Templar spell... This one is only activated when a mob dies though, so might not be as common as the Templar spell.

Thats it. Death March. If that's not exactly it that is very very close.
