<P>Wow! We must be thinking alike- after hearing the expansion would raise the level cap to 70 I too was wondering about our pet line. I think the next pet we would be getting (if they followed the trend) woudl be from our magi line. I'm actually hoping though for awhole new series of pets starting with a tank type (different model then earth would be cool) followed by the other two. Aviak definetly has my vote to <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P>

Well I don't know graphically, but likely we will receive these pets at these levels, if the 14 level upgrade rule holds true:62: Upgrade to Igneous Magi63: Upgrade to Pyrotechnic66: Upgrade to Tellurian Myrmidon and Aqueous Swarm

<P>Well our air pet looks like an ELF ghost.</P> <P>The fire and earth pets certainly are Elemental though.</P> <P>Sure Hope they have the pets with different looks at apprentice adept and master.  The tellurian mymidon being a slightly smaller from apprentice to master then after the "Big Change" it was the same just a different color.  That was pretty lame.</P> <P>Take the 48 fire pet as a GOOD example of pet styles.  Clear dileniation of pet and the graphics look fun and entertaining.</P> <P>Anyways Cheers and LAte Happy New Year to all my conjuror brothers and sisters out there.</P> <P>Fizbiz 60 Conjuror Everfrost</P>

I agree, the Air pet looks nothing like an Elemental of any sort.  He looks like a ghost.  The "old" Air pet graphic looked a lot more "Elemental" than the ghostly elf does.

Actually our new earth pet IS an earth pet. As much as i love my purple monkey he wasnt a good choice for earth. Both the snake and rocks are. Of cours the earthcrawler is questionable as an earth pet.<div></div>

<P>i think the above poster could have been referring to the new "ghost" pet.</P> <P>For conjurer the fire pets, especially the master are pretty good (yes the gargoyle is WAY better)</P> <P>The earth pets ARE very earthy, rumbler and myrmidon especially. Some people prefer the purple monkey but IMHO that is about as earthy as the water illusion fluff spell.</P> <P>The air pet WAS pretty cool, they had varying weapons depending on the tier and level etc, and was most definately AIR.</P> <P>NOW its a frickin ghost!!!??? Sorry but that neither holds water or credibility in my book.</P> <P>Please take another look at these soe. </P>

Is the Aery Hunter's model, your personal preference or are you just trying to win a job at SOE?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Xalmat, you have done wonders to the community of Conjurors and I greatly appreciate that!!! I think that you're the best conjuror around in all of the servers!!! You know way more than any of us. I hope you don't take this personally but its an observation that I'm going to have to agree with silvercloud. I'm not jealous that I know you're a better conjuror than me but it seems to me that you're sucking up to SOE. Name me 2 major projects that they have done right (By major major projects I mean DOF, Revamp, etc) without major issues!! And do you remember when they gave our pets clothes? Uggh, 2 days after that I left because I was too busy in RL plus I didn't want to see my favourite air pet wear Isle of Refuge crap. The clothes on my pets put the cherry on the cake, when I was deciding whether to leave or not!!!! I'm back because I now have the time to play EQ2 more often, and I'm grateful that they made our pets naked again <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I hate the new Aery Hunter model, but I do love the the Aery Stalker/Outrider pet models as well as the earth pet models. I thought that ghosts were Necromancer territory but I guess I'm wrong because we get a ghost pet now........</DIV> <DIV>I also think that the new Aery Hunter model is sort of crossing Necromancer territory (in terms of pet models). I don't see why we can't get our air illusions as our pets without casting the group illusion!!!! </DIV><p>Message Edited by sonicshadow on <span class=date_text>01-04-2006</span> <span class=time_text>10:20 AM</span>

For the record, my sig is a general quote not directed at any one person or in response to any one patch. However, like I said, if you want something fixed, you need to /bug it, and you need to play on Test server and /bug it.

No matter how good their QA is there is no way they can catch all bugs. To think you will ever play an MMO thats 99% bug free is almost a joke. There are tens of thousands of us banging away at the code. Even if they had a paid tester for each one of us. They wouldnt catch everything. This is why patches exist.<div></div>

<div></div>I think people overlook the fact that there are literally millions of configurations of hardware and software out there.  No two users' computers will be alike.  How in the world can a programmer bug check for every hardware or software conflict out there?  There is no way that a MMORPG is going to work on everyone's system.  Granted, there is likely some sloppy work that gets through (like almost any company) but I think given the scope of the game, that they do a pretty good job overall.

Would you fantasy newbs give it up on asking for the CT statue look.  Those are [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]ing CONSTRUCTS, not summonings. Why would you want an <i>elemental summoning</i> to look like a construct/golem?  If you want constructs just ask for an additional line of pets.<div></div>

<div>They would never give us anything too cool cause then the other class would start crying "It's not fair! It's not fair!"</div>

New conj tank pet has same model as Vaz'Gok and Varanak, just different textures for different tiers (app/ad/m).New conj mage pet looks like "caster" in robe with flames surrounding him. Here is how ad3 conj mage pet looks like. App/M versions are the same, just different robes/weapons (m1 has Prismatic =).<img src="http://www.eversor.com/pics/conj-mage-ad.gif">P.S.The only thing Xalmat does care about is - hits on his website.<div></div>

There are 0 ads on his web site. Also, anything (positive) kept of Sony boards and put on a different site, is better for the Conjuror class.</span></div>

<div>would absolutely love it if they gave us another type of pet at some point in the coming expansions, something besides the scout mage or tank roles, maybe a mez pet or who knows something nifty to give us even more versatility then we already have <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div>

Xalmat doesnt care about hits on his site. He just doesn't want to say the same thing four hundred times. If you look on the site you will see a lot of categories for us. Instead of just the one here. Plus the noise there isnt as much as it gets to be here.<div></div>
