So a few days ago I was with a group in the War Room in the Clefts. My pet had taken agro from our SK MT and taken a good beating, so I Sacrificed the pet. Well I noticed that the SK died, he said that was the third time a conjuror had killed him. He said it was the same way every time, when they sacrificed a pet. Has anyone else run into this? If so was it only an SK that died or another class? I'm going to bug it, but would like some information from oothers about it. Thanks<div></div>

I've never heard of that happening...what did the log say?

The only thing that might be happening is if he has a buff that makes him take the damage instead of the pet. If that happens to go off, it would kill him instead. If that's the case, he shouldn't be putting it on the pet. <div></div>

<DIV>Guardians have a single target buff that does this yup - but they shouldn't use it on the pet.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I didn't know Shadowknights had such a thing and can't find one in the spell lists... It shouldn't really happen as far as I can tell.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>X</DIV>

Well the conjuror should remind the non finger waggling types that the only buff that should be on is the group heal from templars, and if Inquistors have it. If the pet takes damage which it will do with AOE mobs, and the buff is on it....then you sacrifice the pet ( i think the air pet has like 50000 hitpoints - non mitigated). You sacrifice the pet it does that in damage.....It will kill any tank instantly.

LOL, yeah the sk does have a power that allows him to intercept damage that your pet would have taken. I was in a dps group (and we had a sk in there, wasnt really needed but he started with us) and he was doing that to my pet to help feel usefull to the group. I think I killed him about 5 times that night. <div></div>

<div></div><p>*LOL* God that's a funny one!</p><p>The Intercept line of spell and their damage-grabbing variants of fighters get hit by the Sacrifice line? <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

<div>It should be /bugged though, since Sacrifice damage shouldn't count as a damage hit to be intercepted.</div><div> </div><div>X</div>

<div></div><p>I disagree that it should be bugged........We need to advertise for all tanks to put their intercept buffs on our pets....then when we don;t want a pull to happen we just sacrifice our pet.....main tank/puller dies<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />........</p><p>I may play a conjuror but mee heart is a bit darker then the eviliest necro<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>ok Xtreme...maybe we should /bug it ....but then it will take our illusion of demi-god of the group<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

<div>It is not a single target intercept. Its a 30 second group buff which also buffs the pet.</div>
