Depends on the pet model. Aery Hunter is clearly male. Igneous Magi, Adept rank, is clearly female. Tellurian Soldier is clearly a male. The other pets could be considered gender neutral, but I always refer to my pets as male in such cases.

I always consider them male. Even the igneous ballet dancer, which I just consider a little . . . um . . . sensitive. :smileywink:

Hmm...I've always thought of them as an "it". Even when they resemble one gender or another, they're still just...elementals. Do elementals have functioning reproductive organs they use to procreate/fornicate/masterb....yes...well...you catch my drift...they're beings composed of raw elements who manifest as one gender or another when they are animated or summoned.

I could be wrong I guess...maybe one day we'll zone into the Plain of Air only to find Xegony -with her deadly boobie taunt- entwined in orgiastic ecstasy amidst her misty elemental minions...

Until I catch them in the act though, they will be "its" to me.

I have always considered them as 'it' as well excepting of course the obviously female firey one.
