<DIV>Hi Folks,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>New Summoner fumbling his way through the class (and loving every minute of it !). Just dinged 14 and wandering what is the best choice for getting for the free Master. Think they go:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Improved Pet heal</DIV> <DIV>Improved Dot</DIV> <DIV>Improved Pet defensive buff</DIV> <DIV>Improved Pet offensive buff</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Im leaning towards the heal (at 14 I think it does 159 HP) but have no idea whats coming down the line or if some of the others are on a sperate refresh timer and thereby very useful.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Appreciate your help <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

I heard the next pet heal isnt to Lv 28 which seems a long way off. Can you tell me what makes it a better choice - thanks !</DIV>

It's a better choice because even at master2, our pet heals suck, and you won't stay ahead of the damage with them. The bonuses you get from the defensive buff are far better in the long run. <div></div>

<DIV>Yup exactly, with the defensive buff upgraded you shouldn't need to heal so much anyway because of the extra defense buffs and HP. The pet holds aggro better too, so you're able to lay down your own DPS better and so kill the mob(s) more quickly... and so you need to heal less once again.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The Def Buff upgrade is far and away the better choice for the soloist. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>X</DIV>

<P>DEFINITELY the defensive buff, no questions.</P> <P>& at level 24, get the FISH.</P>

<P>I'm going to go against the grain and recommend the pet heal.</P> <P>156 is a huge heal for <20 (and is still useful at 23 because I haven't got an upgrade yet), Master 2 on stances is kind of a waste because you get a new one in the 20s, plus the stats are low at low levels so a % increase doesn't do much.</P> <P>I solo with my fire pet and 1 heal is half his health, even at 23.  Then again I did get Ad3 pet spells.  </P> <P>Fish at 24, definitely, though.</P>

You don't get your new defensive stance until level 28, which is towards the end of the tier. The pet heal might be significant for the fire pet, but it's <I>very</I> miniscule for the earth pet.
