One thing I noticed since the live 18 patch is that at certain times when I cast Transient Haven it has a timer on it, even though it should last until cancelled. This can be a problem if you aren't paying attention and your main pet buff winks out on you. The spells says it has the right timer settings but I find that it is doing something different now. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Message Edited by Shikar on 12-22-2005 07:14 AM

I noticed this also with Protective Brace pet stance. Spell description still says "Until Cancled" but in the Maintained Spells window the icon has a 15 minute countdown.

However, it is just a display bug. If the timer runs out the stance does not drop. In fact once the timer runs down the first time, the timer goes away. Since we do not have to drop and recast our pets on the griffs anymore, after your spell has been up for 15 minutes the timer goes away and you would not even know it had been there.

Another odd side effect is that if you zone during the 15 minute countdown, the timer starts over at 15 minutes again.

I sent in a bug report but since the stance does not seem to drop after the countdown, its not a huge issue.

The timer always starts after zoning .. i normally just recast the spell and all looks fine after that.
