Ive got a couple general questions. I two box a pair of Summoners, now 11th.I have not gotten a Master Spell choice that I believe we get at 10.8? Should I be worried? What is everyones recommendation on the choices? I would think either an AOE DD or the single target DD for my playstyle.Im in Qeynos now. The bears in Oakmyst Forest arent doing much for me. Two spells each, and pets and they are dead. Kinda bored and I run out of them.Ive moved to Forest Ruins, but havent done much besides run from a group of 4 Goblins that jumped me.Any suggestions on where to hunt for a pair of Summoners?Any hunting guides or Summoner guides you could recommend? Thanks,Mal

Message Edited by Faelos on 12-18-2005 02:24 PM

Master spell updates changed with the big combat update. You will now get your choice at level 14. For one of your choices I'd pick the defensive stance and the other offensive. The pet that tanks gets the defensive and vice versa. Be sure to check out the summoners tower and especially this post regarding spell upgrades.

The above poster is correct - you now get your master upgrade choices at 14. One should be for the defensive stance and the other for offensive stance. You should also upgrade both of your pets to adept III immediately. I believe the rats, snakes, and mites outside of qeynos in antonica are still good for your level. 2-boxing conjurors should mean that they die very fast. The scarecrows around there are good as well. When you get to 14, move noth from where the mites, rats and snakes are, and fight the klicnic warriors. At 17, move to Eastern Antonica and kill the scarecrows. With 2 conjurors, you can probably take out the heroic level ones that are a little further north of the ones at the grffon station, and are far less camped. When you get to 20 and are a bona-fide Conjuror, you will get your fire pet. Use one Earth pet to tank and use the fire pet with your off-toon. Upgrade the fire pet to adept III (basically, just upgrade every pet you ever get [10, 20, 24, 32, 34, 38, 46, 48, 52, 60] to adept III) as well and you'll be positively stunned at the amount of damage you can do.

I would start trying the easier heroic gnolls in Antonica. At lvl 14, I like the option of doing Master 2 on the Defensive, and then the other Offensive. I would also move to Blackburrow and try the gnolls there. At 16-18 you can try scarecrows in the fields by Windstalkers Village, and Steepes Station.

Thanks for the info guys. I did decide to make up a pair of Iksar Summoners, and honestly the hunting spots seem much better in Freeport. I will have to defect, but though my High Elves look really nice, there is just something about being the superior race that makes me enjoy the Iksar. But then Im flighty, so I might be back as them.Mal
