That is the only way i have been able to do it.....also watch the mines in Zek......and also watch the aggro if you use the water pets.

You might want to check the update notes: " - Summoned pets will no longer use extra abilities given to NPCs of the same creature type." Your fish won't throw around out of encounter aoes now. Fink Dominion of Toxxulia <div></div>

<DIV>Pet pathing has been like that since day 1 - that is...horrible.</DIV> <DIV>Those zones you mentioned -particularly Stormhold are by far the worst.  Any tight quarters like that -or the mines in Zek as the above poster mentioned- will give you fits.  Until they figure out a way to convince our pets that they are not ghosts and should not be walking through walls, the best thing to do is just be ready for it then /pet backoff and retreat to a safe open area.</DIV>

Yep - I've "bugged" that problem a number of times and it has been going on forever.  Backing the pet off is the only thing I've found that works - assuming you have a clear space to back him up to. J Wellington Wells <div></div>

Not to mention your pet doing the waltz with the mob. <div></div>

<div></div>Just an FYI - I had the problem on and off against Tundra Terrors I was helping a friend kill in Everfrost last night.  You know - those big bugs that stick the shiny end of their tails out of the ice?  Well, for some of them, the pet simply would not attack no matter where I was standing, but I could cast a spell to pull.  For most, that wasn't an issue.  Very dangerous getting aggro, even for a moment, from one of those - they hit very hard indeed.  Also happened for one or two Constructs in the hallway in EF. ----------- EDIT: Oops - wrong thread - this is about the pet attack jinx...hehe.  Sorry.  How do I move this to the right thread? ----------- J Wellington Wells <div></div><p>Message Edited by Raybourne on <span class=date_text>12-08-2005</span> <span class=time_text>06:54 AM</span>
