<DIV> <DIV>My wife and I have been duoing as Inquisitor / Conjuror, and my brother has expressed an interest in playing. He may not play all the time, so sometimes I will probably try playing both the Inq and the other char while my wife plays the Conj.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>There is also a lower level Berzerker on the Conj account, and I noticed a lot of people recommend the Berzerker as the best Duo.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Our main goal will be to fight the toughest named heroics we can as a 3 some at higher levels.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I've been thinking:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Berzerker -Better match for the Inq healing... allows the Conj to use a non-tank pet and use more AE damage.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Brawler-Brawlers seem very popular/powerful right now. Lots of tank dps plus feign death is huge. May have a problem taunting groups of the Conj and Inq.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Necro-Maybe chaining 2 pets to take down tougher mobs?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Swash/Inq/Conj - Worried about weak pet tank at higher levels</DIV> <DIV>Berzerker/Swash/Inq - Having a rogue to track, dps, escape, and try for better Heroic Opportunities seems like it might be great. I haven't played a rogue and don't know much about them, so I'd be curious about these last two trios.</DIV></DIV>
<P>My Main is a level 50 Conjuror that has gone Master II for pet defense. I 3 box with a Templar and Illusionist. I play the Illusionist as a petclass and don't really use mez's, but I use stunns, stiffles and aoes. They mow through ^^^ Heroics 3 levels higher. Your brother, could play the illusionist as either the pet class, or as the mezzer, powerdrainer that they excell at. I find the Illusionist group buffs really help pet DPS and push my int over 440.</P> <P>I don't know if Illusionist is the best, probably not, but good for 3 boxing and a class that is welcome in groups other than your trio.</P> <P> </P>

<DIV>Third party in a trio with Conj + Inquisitor... well in theory, a tanking class would be the best answer. Conjuror would go all out attack, tank holds aggro with inq healing. Berzerker would be as good a choice as any.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The fly in the ointment might come from wanting to two box occasionally. Both tank and conjuror really need active participation to get the best out of them and make sure they're doing their jobs well.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If you really want to two box the third on occasion, then going for a class that provides excellent passive benefits in buffs and utility such as an illusionist isn't going to be a bad choice.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If your brother's fun is the priority I'd go for a tank. If two boxing is the priority, go for the passive support class.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>X</DIV>

<DIV>Illusionists are definitely a good asset to a group. Scouts do have some good utility. A Necro would add a lot more DPS and give you some more options with pets. Being that I 2-box a conjuror and templar though, if it were me and I could add any another class it would definitely be a fighter. With a fighter you could take those mobs that are just too tough for the tank pet. Sure you could argue that any class will up your groups potential to kill tougher stuff, but with a real tank you can do so much more. As to which one...I would go with a guardian/zerker or a monk/bruiser. I only have a lowbie guardian so I can't comment too much there, but my monk seems pretty uber now. As far as holding aggro they have a great combat art called Dragon Stance which increases hate on a successfull hit. That combined with their stance (I prefer offensive on a monk) and rescue/intervene spells (and taunts of course) and you'll have no problems with aggro - provided said combat art and stances are adept I or higher (they should really be at adept III). Take what I say about fighters with a grain of salt since I only play a monk... but in fighting with and duelling other tanks like pally's and sk's they just seem a little weak in comparison. Fighters are very gear dependent though so it could be I've just had experience with the ones in handcrafted gear and appIV spells heh.</DIV>

I would not want to 2-box a fighter and conjurer. I'm sure I could do it since the conjuror is so familiar to me, but if you haven't been 2-boxing for a long time it would be tough.
I would stay away from the tank class....go with a dps one...ranger, assassin, monk, bruiser....also a troub, dirge, swashy would help as well. If your brother wants to play melee class, then a zerker would be good. The conj would put the agreesive stance on, and use a dps class pet.
A Paly or Warlock ~ Paly for tanking and agro and such, Warlock to kill faster so pet can tank. <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Your pets are pretty [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] crazy, Myself as Phinny (60Warlock) and a Conj level 59 friend of mine, are able to duo all instances up and too roost, only two named in roost we cannot kill duo, they are casters and eat us for lunch after snare wears off. This is all with no healer, add an Inq hell you cold do so much more!</DIV>
