<DIV>Hi,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Let me start by saying that I love EQ2 and its player community (I am on AB server). They are the best. I started the game with Templar because I love healing. Now he is almost 60 (and completely ruined by great minds at SoE), I wanted to play something different. So, I started Conjurer because of pets. Needless to say I am having more fun playing a Conjurer than I ever had playing my Templar.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>However, there are many instances when I am soloing inside a dungeon. The mob is halfway inside the walls, and I can not cast any of my direct damage spells. I get message "Can not see target". This is so annoying, because my crawler is fighting them. If it can see the mob, why can't I?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>What do you all do in this situtation? Please help.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>PS: I sometimes wonder if any developers/game designers actually play the game *snicker*</DIV>

<P>Yes, this is an anoying bug, and although it affects all classes, sumoners are the most effected.  This is because we pull using the pet, which like mobs, love running thought walls.</P> <P>The most effective solution, to my knowedge, is to tell the pet to back off (dove button), then reingage when the target is visable.  Becarefull to reactivate the 2 gaurd buttons also, otherwise the pet will stop attcking after killing the first mob.  Hope this helps.</P>

<DIV>I have a level 34 Conj, and I love playing her, but yeah, dungeons are a bad idea.  Almost every single time I </DIV> <DIV>fight in a dungeon my pet and the mob head for a rift in time and space lol.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Best idea if you do have to fight in a dungeon for a quest or something, is to get a group and be more of a </DIV> <DIV>caster than a pet class, just send in your pet for a little more dps, but back it off if it grabs aggro at all.  You </DIV> <DIV>have to do it quickly or to the rift they go.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>One thing I like to do if I have to go into dungeons is try and find a larger clear area outside of the winding </DIV> <DIV>caverns and just pulling the mobs back to that area, take them out, and do that again and again.  Like the </DIV> <DIV>Vallon Miners for the Writ quests, I just pet pull them to the elevator area and bet them up, and go back </DIV> <DIV>for more.  When you hit backoff, the pet will stop defending itself, so once you are in a clear area, you will </DIV> <DIV>need to send it into attack manually.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyways, just a bit of info, and, be sure to watch your back <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV><p>Message Edited by tuckerlord on <span class=date_text>11-28-2005</span> <span class=time_text>06:44 AM</span>

<DIV>Good idea, I haven't gotten into too many macros yet.  Think I will try it, just gotta figure </DIV> <DIV>one thing out, where I will put the extra button!  I have 3 rows of action buttons thus far, </DIV> <DIV>I wonder if I can suffer another for macros.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

I always had four rows, and after LU#13 where the creature mastery spells make sense to use i added a fifth 5 rows :smileyvery-happy:

You could just macro all the mastery strikes into one command then get rid of that fifth bar <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.
