About to ding 50 in "old" world...

Unfortunately, yes, you're stuck at level 50 if you do not have Desert of Flames. <div></div>

You need the Desert of Flames to proceed on. <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Look for Best buy to have a sale. They bought a bunch and have been selling them for bargain basement prices (At least in Greensboro here).

What they said. Without purchasing Desert of Flames, you cannot advance above level 50. There are still a multitude of quests and raids outside of Desert of Flames you can do, but it is hard to get invited to those raids at level 50 when everyone else is shooting for level 60.
