Gee...there's a surprise.... /sarcasm off

*sigh* someday...someday all our pets will be useful...*wipes tear from corner of her eye*/melodrama off Ah well. I suppose this is why I have an alt. I still love this class though, I just wish they'd get around to fixing us already. Still, we're not as bad off as the shamans from what I hear.

What i would like to see is some post of what ideas they are running with at the moment to adjust summoners/conjurers/necro's. It is frustrating to have absolutely no idea on what kinds of changes SOE is planning for the pet classes. Like everyone else on the boards I am hoping to see all our pets become useful. I am also hoping to see some disclosure on how the combat system changes will affect our pets melee and tanking. And if they think that they can let our DOT's stack with others. I understand that SOE does not want to post too much in case they change their minds, but if they would post enough for us to give some feedback or voice conerns before the whole mechanism is ready to put in place it would greatly reduce the frustration level of waiting and delaying the changes. (At least it would for me)<strike></strike>

You''ll find most shaman problems are on the mystic end though if there at all and not on the defiler end (weak wards being the common issue but defilers having most of their spells recently fixed). I think its the same with necros and conjurors, with necros getting the better ends of the deal - a qeynos freeport thing?

Actually, if you look closely, Conjurors got nerfed slightly.

SOE doesn't care about our class at all. SOE doesn't care about the players at all. Look at the history of this forum -- there were so many conjurors that would spend time trying to make the class better, provide feedback and generally be patient. Now, most of those people have simply quit the game because of SOE's lies (re: Froggies) and deceptions (re: promises to fix our class).

EQ2 is, and always will be, center around making money. I actually haven't played a game in a long, long time where financial concerns so override game development concerns. The entire business model of EQ2 is not to make a good, solid game that attracts people but to provide a very mediocre game that uses a known brand and push out expansions to a dwindling population base in order to cover development costs. Unfortunately, certain players get lost in that process.

Message Edited by lastlight on 05-12-2005 01:10 PM
