<div></div><div></div>Didn't our Tellurian Hero have a Tellurian Pummel attack that was "AoE" ? I'd love it if our pet had something that would allow us to take 2-3 normal green solo mobs without worrying about aggro. A simple AoE based attack that does not break mez would be great. It wouldn't increase our damage on single encounters, it could even be low damage, as long as it generates enough hate so that the other mobs don't come straight for us after a healing tick of Provocation. As it stands, its pretty humiliating running away from a bunch of green solo mobs because they can't stay on the pet. I agree that aggro management is a art, but as it stands we don't have the tools to manage 3+ little grouped encounters (petrify/root recast times etc ) . We have a 200+ pt heal, plenty of damage but yet we still do worse than a tank with no healing on those small multi-mob solo encounters. <DIV>yeah, that would be nice. The fire pet that you can choose to have as a class traning choice at lvl 30 has an AoE attack that can hold the agro nicely and able to tank green solo mobs. But if you want to solo white or yellow solo mobs, forget about it with this fire pet. Maybe we will get something with the next update.</DIV>

<P>What I do is target 1 mob, /pet attack (pet opens with a 3 hit attack alot)</P> <P>target mob # 2 in group wait for pet to hit the first one, then spam /pet attack on the 2nd mob.. normally the mob turns to the pet after 1 attack</P> <DIV>In this manner I can get 2 mobs on the pet 95% of the time and if I am careful I dont ever get aggro.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>But then again I got the master earth pet (24) and the monkey has an AE taunt that he uses every now and then to near no effect but I have seen it happen to work maybe 5 times total in 10 levels.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>A minor AE taunt would be good to counter the heal aggro of the pet buff on teh base line pet.</DIV>

<DIV>ummm hell [Removed for Content] no the day they add a AOE attack to a pet is the last day i would play the class, the effect of a pet ability to aoe would be detrimental to our class heh. groups of 3-5 are easy first send pet and be far away. 2nd use the tab button to change targets. third after 10 -15 seconds pet will have half aggro locked. start helpin pet if pull aggro can always kite the mobs or run mob away and keep it rooted in place.</DIV><p>Message Edited by hellfire on <span class=date_text>04-10-2005</span> <span class=time_text>12:12 AM</span>

It's the master I version of Igneous Adept.. He has an AoE called Waves of Fire that does between 150-250 per mob at 45.. are you going to quit now? <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

the tullarian line shouldn't have an AOE attack because their purpose is not to do DPS, but to tank. I think they should have an AOE taunt so soloing groups of 2/3 would be more efficient. I think that the AOE effect of the igneous line should be improved and the air pets should have an AOE melee attack.

<DIV> well if the aoe breaks mezzes then pet is kinda worthless imo most times</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>and my comment was directed towards our veteran pet.</DIV>
