Strategies for Soloing

<DIV>After several attempts I was finally able to defeat this named (Green con )Octopus in Everfrost . Here is how I did it : </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>-All possible buffs on Master 1 Pet : Master 1 Flameshield, Varskis Encouraging Ward, Vehement Stone Adept 1, Blazing Presence App4</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>-Aqueous Hunters : These guys will set off Proc on Infernus Seed (Adept 3 ) and damage adds up . I really want to get Adept 3 of this spell.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>-Did not use any HOs . If Pet loses aggro , I will definitely lose. Undertow always resists my Stun (HeatWave ).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>- Slowly but consistenly cast DoTs . Saving some power for pet heal is key to victory.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>- Using Instant Vim and Shard of Essence,towards the end of fight used all possible power to keep pet alive with Minions Intervention.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>-Minions Intervention Master 1 : If you ever have an oppurtunity to get this spell at Master level , it is a must -have for soloing. <DIV>Beat him 2 more times so far , also solo'd BloodThirsty Leopard and Congregation of Screams.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Takes a LOT of focus and serious tactics but it can be done. So far the best thing to drop was Severed Augmented Apron.  Hoping for Ruby!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>good job, but he is easy.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I am now solo'ing blue con ^^ with 100% effectiveness if they are 48 and below and about 60% for 49's. Havent tried any whites yet because I havent seen an open spot to do it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The only reason my efficieny drops when the mob goes from 48 to 49 is because I can't use frozen by time on level 49 mobs so I am cut down to one stun.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>When I have time to kill its fun to solo the tundtra terrors, wooly mammoth and those ice things in the EF feild while groups combat them beside me.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>What I really want to kill is the Mantacore Terror Lord in Feerrott, only tried him once and he won because the [Removed for Content] resisted my root twice in a row.</DIV>

<DIV>So what is the hardest mob you have taken down? Im still saying Undertow because its an underwater fight and hard to see and move around.  I need to try Terror Lord again, tried him before and lost , but now I have  a new Master 1 and Adept 3 to throw at him</DIV>

You have to watch out for his Poison Gas attack which is like an AOE</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>He only dropped junk, some " Bent Ebon Disk " thing . Oh well  at least I beat him</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>* Anyone reading this and thinks I should be Nerfed needs to realize I have 4 T5 Master 1s and 5 Adept 3s that I use to defeat these named mobs. They win more than I do , and whenever I do win its always a VERY close battle. It basically comes down to whoever get the final hit wins. <DIV>I made it very clear its only because of my Masters/Adept 3s and LOTS of failed attempts that I am ever able to beat these named mobs.   Over 400 deaths to prove it lol </DIV>
