Hey Crew, just my 2 coppers but here is the way I do it and it works.1. Target the mob and immediately cast Agitation on pet.2. Tell pet Attack.3. Once contact is made, tell pet to BACK OFF.4. By now (and since the pet has gotten the mobs attention) as your pet begins to walk/crawl back to you, he will STOP and re-engage the mob as your pet is repeatedly getting smacked upside the head as it is trying to come back to you.5. Cast Static Pulse and follow Imediately with Petrify.6. Once the mob has reached 70% Health, launch your 1st HO.7. Static Pulse/Heal Pet8. By now your mob should be deep in the orange, and you can cast HO's all you want between Pet Heals and Static Pulses.9. The key here is STATIC PULSE. Never let up on it.I perfected this technique in TS against Deer that were Orange to me (they were lvl 23, I was 20) and never once did I pull agro off my Tellurian Hero.

Almost forgot, be sure to have ALL your buffs on, depending what you chose with the new patch, I have ALL 5 Slots of my Concentration used up, the 3 normal buffs, a new one in the patch and the Tellurian Hero.

<DIV>I have Adept 3 Soldier and Adept 3 Provocation , but even with Adept 1 Provoc I was able to solo orange mobs just by sending Pet to attack and 9/10 times he will keep aggro the whole fight. I just stand back and cast DoTs and HOs. The Roaring Flames is one of our best spells , it even has a timer icon if you can believe that. Does a lot of damage over time and fast recast, so you can even use it effectively on grouped mobs. And now with Flaming Agony and Fire Seed actually working , Orange mobs are going down a lot faster. If I do get aggro, I just cast Frozen by Time and stand back, by the time it wears off the pet has aggro again (usually). This does not work on Red mobs, 9/10 times they ignore pet and come for me from the start. I am curious if my Master 1 Veteran will be able to keep aggro on Red mobs. Will know in 2 more levels.</DIV>

<DIV>You get as much, or more, XP fighting orange or red mobs as the green ^^ mobs. Plus you can take them out quicker and with less power use. </DIV> <DIV>As a 24 Conjurer i could take some of the red conned lvl 29 solo Centaurs in TS before the patch - haven't tried since the patch, though.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Maraal</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
