<DIV>Anyone find this effective at all? It has a very fast cast time, but almost never holds the creature at all, and if it does, for a very short period of time.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Arcane Bindings Apprentice III is more reliable, but im getting to the level where i cant use it anymore (creatures too powerful report when i try).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyone have luck with immobolize?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

I hardly ever use it, it breaks too fast, I use it when my petrify is down and a mob is nearly killing me.

<DIV>Agreed....  I use Petrify..   However if I am waiting for that to repop I use Immobolize to stop the mob and get away hoping my pet can regain agro before it breaks</DIV>

I find immobolize useless in most cases and activly detrimental in many. The agro caused by rooting a mob is so huge that of all the spells I cast this is one of the few that will agro a mob so bad that a tank has serious trouble pulling it off. I usually have better luck just taking some hits or using petrify to let tanks regain agro on a mob.Solo it has some uses but in a group I have never seen it actually benefit the group.kaid

<DIV>Yeah, I use petrify...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>1. To give me extra edge to heal my pet so that he is not taking damage at the same time I am trying to heal him.</DIV> <DIV>2. To back off and let my pet regain agro or to break encounter and escape.</DIV> <DIV>3. In a group encounter, to provide the few secs of damage with no mob response. (really seems to work well with more than one mage in the group).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I hardly ever use Immobolize as it rarely holds for me except on weaker mobs - I need to experiment with this more. My Immobolize in only apprentice 2 however.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
