just started back up

I don't know what others would say, but for one thing it depends on your playstyle.  So far, I've seen.  If you want to be a DPS/speed, then stick with the KoS line that gives casting speed, but if you want control, (this is what I did) go down the line that gives +subj, or maybe some of the lines in EoF that give resist reductions.

You don't have to use any points in the KoS tree before using the EoF AAs.

Remember also.  Any achievment points gained before getting EoF can only be spent in the Enchanter Achievment tree.  So if you have 10 unspent achievment points before getting EoF those 10 points must be spent in the KoS achievment tree.  Hope that makes sense.
