I've tested this by casting proc buff at the mark while sprinting and seen the number rise in my tooltips then inspected the target and seen that it has landed at the pre- 30% mark (what it was when I actually casted it).. and visa versa.. if casted under 30% and a tick of regen happens before it lands, it lands at the bonus %. </DIV> <DIV>Assuming what holds true for the buffs and proc then should hold true for "nukes" as well, I have not tested this as much as with buffs and Procs.</DIV> <DIV> <HR> </DIV> <DIV>as far as reactive damage, I would base it off of the topic quite a ways back on resist debuffs in a similar question.. ie if you debuff mental after casting a reactive or dot does the resist check go on its current resist at the point of the reactives trigger or DoT's tick or is it based on when the spell originally lands ..?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It would make sense to me that the Volatile magic alters the base damage at time of cast and locks in the damage of buffs/procs and DD from that time of cast so the logical line is that it locks in the damage boost at time of cast and subsequent triggers would still be base damage of the locked in base at time of cast... but thats just my rationale of it.</DIV>

<div></div>To Aranieq<span></span><a target="top" href="../view_profile?user.id=87332"><span></span></a> - For reactives, the resist check it done when the reactive goes off, NOT when it lands on the target as the debuff. Here's what I noticed screwing around with Tash.Tash OFF - Auspex does the normal 1,200 ~ 2,200 (give or take depending on other debuffs) on the mob.Tash ON - Auspex does over 2,500 constantly during the duration of Tash.Soon as tash wears off, back down to normal Auspex (1,200 ~ 2,200) reguardless of when I landed the original Auspex as a debuff. Thus confirming when resist checks are made for reactives, or I have some really odd luck, constantly. My sugestion, get ALL your reactives on (unless you know the mob doesn't cast at all) right before you Tash (or some other huge mental debuff). Once the debuff lands, nuke hard so you have reactives and nukes hitting for double the damage! I also try to time Breakdown to wear off during Tash, I've had it hit for over 3k on termination before, all these numbers are with out volatile magic, I'm sure those are a bit higher than mine. AdiX__Styxx__ to answer you question more simply, yes volatile magic effects everything you got. From procs to DoTs back down to reactives. Even power damage. (as listed above)<div></div>
