I really don't see much out of mana flow myself. Possibly because I am only mid level but it seems to do very little outside of the 10% buff.<div></div>

<DIV>For solo play, Manna Flow is completely useless. It comes into it's own as a Must Cast spell in groups, and raids.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I generally play with a tank that uses his manna puddle fully in every fight. He often finishes at 15-30% manna. When I am in the group, he grins all night long, since he's finishing at 70-80% manna, and can immediately pull another mob. Chaining exp for 2-3 hours is a lot of fun, and can only be sustained with manna flow on him constantly.</DIV>

Major use in raids, I cast it on healers all the time on long fights. <div></div>

It's not <i>completely</i> useless solo. If you need to solo something high-level in a low-level zone (like the last named for ivy-shrouded orb quest line) where you can't get a decent pet, you can burn through power pretty quickly with the stun/nuke/mez method, and Mana Flow is a much more efficient health->power conversion than Transfer Potential. Without any AAs in Transfer Potential, it restores 350 power for a cost of 490 health. Putting Mana Flow on yourself will restore 20% power for a cost of 10% health, which for me is ~1360 power for 480 health.Other than weird situations like that, though, I agree that you won't really see how useful Mana Flow is until you raid or get in a fast-killing group.

"For solo play, Manna Flow is completely useless. " bbbaaaaaaa - incorrect! I aggree with the post above. It's like a long HP / mana conversion. I give up 5% life / 5% power to gain 20% power 18 seconds later. When soloing this makes or breaks a really long fight. For Example, fighting something solo that's level 74^^^. It has a [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] load of hit points, now there are 2 ways of doing this. 1) Charm a pet and rotate stuns / roots and kill it as fast as posible... but, uh oh! The mob had an AE or Frontal cone! This would make this method almost usless because your pet would get eaten alive.2) Use the old - Mezz-Debuff-stun-nuke-nuke-stun-nuke-stun-nuke-mezz method to take him down, not giving him a second to move or think. Problem with this is, it eats up power like a mofo. If you aren't constantly feeding yourself with Mana Flow you WILL run out of power before the mob dies, even with full Power sepc in the new AA lines and master1&2 of your mana regen. Questions?<div></div>

<div></div><div align="left">i´m a lvl23 coercer and i only can restore 10% with manaflow. What about these 20%? Does it get better with higher lvl? I have to spend 10% of my mana AND Power to regain only 10% power 25sec later.</div><div></div><p>Message Edited by Redrain on <span class=date_text>12-20-2006</span> <span class=time_text>11:39 AM</span>

It costs 10% health and 10% power to cast. Then 30s (or 20s with AA's) later you get 10% back and the target gets 10%.So while you get 20% "back" it still cost you 10% power for those 20-30s.In the end, the conversion is still 10% power for 10% health. Considering we have less health than power normally, that means we get far more out of it than any other conversion, which normally takes more health than it gives in power back.<div></div>

Mana Flow is probably our best AA.<div></div>

I love Mana Flow, and use it constantly on raids, occasionally in groups, but rarely when solo unless I know I have time to regen. I don't know if I'd say its our best, but it is definately one of the best and most helpful AA's given. I just wish there was upgrades to it besides having it fire off sooner.<div></div>

<DIV>I've got my regen masters, fully invested in the regen Coercer line and use mana flow alot. I keep my proc gear stacked up but if I'm low on health I'll switch over to my spectral fury staff that proc's a 445 heal. Add this to your 14% crit heals and it'll proc for 572. My favorite are the three ward items that stack and throw up a 1200 damage ward plus the heal proc, plus the BCG, MOI proc's. You can basically hover around 80% health and power or better in same cases while fighting those pesky named mobs.</DIV>
