It's an EOF instance, but the first named in the Acadechism is an easy kill; just clear the foyer, grab a mana thirster or invoker from one of the side rooms, and take him down as usual. Just know that he's immune to stun first. I actually got Auspex Master 1 from him the first time I soloed him, which made my day, though I've seen nothing but legendary no-drop priest set pieces since. As for the rest of the instance, soloing past him to the second named is possible, but fiddly and annoying (mana thirsters are irritating, and despite being unlinked are surprisingly hard to body pull). The charmable casters there - invoker, thaumaturgist, thirster - are fairly mediocre, so killing is a little slow. The thirster seems be the better option as he casts more often than the two warlock-types. As for Dvinn - a good coercer might be able to solo him, but with the adds he spawns it would be dicey. As for the old-world stuff, not sure. Instances like Halls of Fate are quite soloable due to the excellent pets there, but there's a lot of trash to wade through and the drop rate has never been kind to me. Nest of the Great Egg is soloable up to the ring event, and the Den of the Devourer appears quite soloable, though I've never tried and it'd likely be tedious - but really, when soloing instances like this, you're going to have to deal with tedium anyway.

Can I ask you to expand on Kaladim? I walked throughout the entire zone and didn't notice anything worthwhile. Speak in vagueries if you wish...

I killed a few named in Kaladim last night. The only drop I received was a chest with a no-drop collection page from a named Queen goblin. Took about 5 deaths to kill her too. She has four friends that like to stack spells on you that silence you. The only way I could find to defeat the encounter was to keep everything permanently mezzed.

The other mobs I went for were these 4 halfling musicians in the room on the way to the queen. I didn't think they would drop anything, but wanted to find out for sure. No chest. No nothing.

Ended up leaving after that for a repair. Still, it's fun to learn how to defeat new mobs.

My favorites are OPEN ZONES: Mistmore Catacombs (lower and upper, every named in the zone), Mistmore (upper, Vanq and Pianist), Mistmore (lower, through MMC, Bloodsteal only) and Bonemire for cash runs.INSTANCES: Crypt (everything but the last named), Obilisk (takes WAY to long though), Nest (quick and easy), Halls of Fate (good chalange, look for a good 4 ~ 6 hours) and all of Nek3 (minus the epic) for cash runs. All of these are solo-able, and I have done such, the only thing I'ed rec to speed things up a [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] load is; fine an Assassin / Ranger friend to come on runs with ya. Makes pulls easier with thier Sev (less clearing) and kills are a lot faster, if you know how to time your stuns. The only instance a partner wouldn't work in is HoF, very few named are stunable in there. I'ed probably go with a Wiz / Warl / Conj / Necro for a partner in there, so you can root-nuke and you both can pet-yoyo for damage.

Castle Mistmoore. It may be a pain, but all the named are soloable, except for the Epics.

Just being curious... how do you get to the other named on the bottem half of CMM? I have a lot of trouble keeping up with the respawns and killing the groups of 5+. Given the two upstairs named is a cake-walk, but I can't do anything besides Bloodsteal down stairs.I have been deep enough to find another 6 or 7 named form the entrance through MMC, only problem is getting to them it seems. Sugestions?
