<DIV>Hey there follow chanter,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So like the rest of us I thought less breaks on Charm=Good Thing. The part I am wondering about is:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The Coercer Line says "<STRONG><EM>Domination</EM></STRONG>" now I use the <EM><STRONG>Dominate</STRONG></EM> Master Charm (well, until an act of the god gives me Master Domination). The AA line say is enances charm but was wondering if that is ONLY for Domination and not the lower level charm spells???</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Any help would be appreciated, since I don't wanna waste my points going down this line if it requires you to have the Master Domination.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Jede 70 Coercer</DIV> <DIV>Crep 70 Inqy</DIV>

All "Enhance" AAs apply to every spell in the line they enhance. I still use M1 Dominate, and the better resistability from Enhance Domination is visible in the spell tooltip for it.

Heh, I'm still on M1 Beguile. . . . .  And the tooltip with resistability changed each time  I put a point into enhancing charm.

<P>I use M1 beguile cause dominate is waaaay too much and with 5 points in Enhance: domination my beguile is 34% harder to resist, with a wee bit of +sub gear I am seeing some very very nice results, I still get breaks from certain pets a lot but most times I get near full duration pets.</P> <P>I cannot wait to get enough AA to max the +sub tree in the KoS AA path, of course with the sheer amount of sub I will have then and the max enhancement one would think that would mean very rare breaks but unfortunatly that is not the case from what other coercers have told me although it does make it much better.</P> <P>I am kind of torn on the fact that since maxxed skills mean more to spells than they did before then we should see next to no breaks in a charm and an extremely rare resist from a mez once we are leaps and bounds above our base line in skills and have spells enhanced, problem is that almost all reports indicate we have more issues with certain subjugation based spells than before. Mind you I don't neccesarily want a permanent pet, kinda ruins the fun and danger of being a coercer, plus I want that to be part of a class mastery line later in the game, gives me something to look forward to, but I would expect to see a vast improvement from the amount of skill ups and enhacements we have now.</P>

Thanks for the inputs all :smileyhappy:, I'm soooo glad that it enhances the lower charm spells since who knows when I'll get Domination!

<DIV>If any Coercer is still using Dominate and beguile.... AA for charm(domination) can be a good choise. I use domination m1 and I  don't find the need of getting that AA</DIV>

I don't see how having domination vs dominate or beguile would make any difference in the value of the AA.  They all have the same base resistability, don't they?  The difference is duration, regen rate, and the level of the brief stun at the end, as far as I know.<div></div>

<P>Yeah they all have the same resistability so even if you are using a beguile M1 at lvl 70 you get the exact same resistibility as domination.</P> <P>Domination gives you a higher regen rat, longer duration and a better chance at the stun at break, other than that beguile is just as effective at charming as domination, any and all levels of this spell line will take a lot of benefit from the enhancement this AA gives.</P>

You may see the same resistability percentage but I believe, like most other spells, there is a note saying that resistablity increases after _<u>so and so</u>__ level. If you are using lower tier Masters to get higher resists you will run into trouble because of this. I am not certain about The charm, but I know it is that way with the mezz (Because I was using an old master mez and was having trouble mezzing new higher level opponents). I have never looked at that AA line, so have no input on that as of yet. I am going for the Int line (For the Interupt barrier) and the reactive trigger count increase personally.<div></div>

<DIV>The reason we don't talk about it much is because this was already hashed out months ago when the change first came into effect. People were crying about this change all over the place, but as it was then, it's the same now: The level issue for resistability applies ONLY to the mez effect when the spell terminates.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I don't even have the Domination bonus, just +subj, and I'm using my lvl 33 Beguile on lvl 70+ mobs and getting full duration. I have been ever since the update long ago, only this time I've needed the +subj (and I need it even on my adept 3 Domination).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

*Shrug* Okay. like I said I hadnt looked into if it was factual or not. Nor am I a regular on the coercer boards so was not aware it only effects mez. I dont use charm often unless its to get rid of an add, so its good to know I shouldnt waste money on getting it upgraded <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>
