For lower levels the collection quest Gathered Orb of Conjuration that goes into the Necklace of Flowing Orbs is +1 sub, as is the Necklace itself.<div></div>

I proc'd the claymore item and got +69 sub, so I had about 430ish with gear.Mez was resisted 3x in a row while that buff was up.+Sub does ZIPPO in my book. If its suppose to, its bugged.Regardless, I should not have to buy expansion packs, spend AA's and switch into crummy gear to be able to do one of my key roles. Nothing beats casting AoE mez and having 6 mobs all resist it twice in a row.<div></div>

<P>First of all - there is NO PROVE AT ALL that Subj gear help </P> <P>From stricktly personal expirience +40 to Subj (+7 gear + 33 from warlock) don't do a [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] sorry to say with mez resist or stun resist. Heck I tried once +94 or 74 (or what ever number comes from paladins AA)  to subj with Paladin + Warlock (just for [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] and gigle to see if anything happend) .... NOTHING nada ... no improvement. Tough pure subjectively and it was MM castle lvl 73-74 mobs. I guess + 74 to subj will definitely help you mez green mobs lol</P>

<div></div><div></div>For those who think a little bit of Subj doesn't make a difference, you are correct, a little doesn't, but a lot sure as hell does.Lets look at mezz first... For mezz I didn't notice a difference until I was above 400. (stock) Originally I was around 360s when I started doing the really hard stuff. At the time that was Nizara. I was getting resists left and right, a good 40% of the time atleast. Today, I have 443 Subj (stock, no buffs) and rarely get resists in Nizara OR in CMistmore. I normally will "set up" the fire and water elemental rooms for groups, aka EE mezz (get no resists on 5 mobs at once, will rarely get one resist), run in and start single mezzing the adds while the group kills the named. Same goes for the final named in Nizara, cept my resist rate on level 75^^^s is about 15% so normally the group will pick up the stray while I get it locked down. Now a look at something more current, Castle Mistmore; I get a resist on 1 in about every 30 mobs I cast mezz on. (Master1 mezzes of course) If that isn't because of my Subj, the EQ gods must love me... constantly...Now for charm... I used to charm mobs in HoF with the 360ish Subj, I was forced to fight targeting through my pet because it dropped so often. (we're talking from anywhere between 30 seconds up to 20min, so it was REALLY random). After Switching gear and AA, I rarely lose a pet in HoF, and actually got up the gawl to solo it via charm... with out problem... took forever and a day though. Flip to current stuff, I normally charm things in Niz and in CMM to help with DPS and to do something other than just mezzing. Also, do to my amount of Subj, it has aloud me to solo named in CMM, and ALL of MMC. Easy way to check if it's effecting the power of your pet... charm something that nukes. My Corpse Flames crit for over 12,000.... what about your's? ;opBottem line, if you think Subj doesn't make a difference, your a DPS / Speed Coercer and don't know how to solo, congratz! Subj makes a HUGE difference, landing mezzes, charms and how powerful your charmed mob is. Think I'm wrong? Talk to a solo / control spec-ed Coercer, they live for Subj gear. Subjugation makes a world of difference IF you have enough of it, in this case a little doesn't go a long way... you just need a lot... period.Oh... and that's 443 STOCK, if my ring procs (standard int rings with +13 subj proc) I have 456 and once I finish Claymore I'll have 453 stock and 535 with procs, with a Warlock in my group I'll be pushing 600. Skill cap is 455 at level 70, so don't worry about anything beyond that.I generally run around with 402 in subjugation, and tend not to have problems landing mezzes or stuns on raids.  I'll get maybe 1 in 10 stuns resisted ( I sure as heck stun myself when it gets reflected back at me...)<div></div>

Have yet to see the boots drop, but yeah they are hott... New Relic drops in Free Thinkers and Emerald Thingy-I-forget-the-name-of. My Guild has yet to venture into that raid zone in CMM, so it might also be in there. Will keep ya posted when I see some new Coercer stuff actually drop -_-<div></div>

As a raiding only Coercer I find that worrying about Subj gear a waste of time. With no charmable mobs and such dramatically reduced mezzing chances, I seldom use it. Stuns on the other hand are used all the time and yet I find no difference on their effectiveness no matter what my Subj is. On the rare occasions that I'm running in a group (like Unrest runs) I do have a lot of Subj gear that I can swap to and push my Subj up to around 420. I am set up for DPS and worry more about other stats such as Ordination.

Having a beyond MAX subjugation honestly doesnt help too much.  Because SOE added in the Diminishing Returns factor.  You really dont need anything beyond 50 Subjugation MAX of your level, and most of that can be achieved through the Enchanters AA lines.. WIS line i believe 4th down. So, in actuality you could be hurting your class by looking for ONLY Sub. gear, when in actuality you want Power and Resis gear, my own personal take that I have yet to be proved wrong in as is a Coercer being setup for DPS lol.. as a coercer you want to live as long as possible... Meaning you need Health... Power.. and RESISTS.  You living can make or break a raid or group. ~Coercer Sharpcharm of Blackburrow - lvl 70 Uber Coercer.   Best on Blackburrow and will be Worldwide again.  <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<p>I respecced away from the WIS line last night, figuring that my subj gear and Claymore item proc would be enough.</p><p>I went into the Hidden Cache to kill Mullok (60 ^^^) hoping for the rare 1 in 50 trips T6 master.     I got so many resists on mez and root it was ridiculous.     He actually killed me once after resisting a root,  2 mezzes, and a stun.     I'm going back to WIS line.     I would love to DPS, but when I need a mez or something to stick, I can't have those kind of resists.    I will leave the dps to my ranger.</p><p>My conclusion is that the subj diminishing returns curve is way out of whack.    I don't think you start seeing real benefit until 420+ subj.</p>

This thread should be about Ordination gear! God I hate how my nukes and mezzes land so easily, but Ive got nothing to help my reactives (massive chunk of my dps) land in raids.  Id love if the Focus on the WIS line was changed to Ordination, or even if they just added Ordination to it.

I could look through my own gear, but... well.. I have one item not in that list which is a level 70 item but dropped in a EoF zone, wasn't gotten from raiding but is Legendary.i.e. Cyrosilk Cap, +5 Subjugation - it's from Shard of Fear
