<DIV>I was wondering if anyone has been able to test out the mobs in the new zones and which ones you all would suggest as a good pet?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I havn't really been charming in the outside zones just yet but I have done one of the new instances in EoF, the Obelisk. In this zone I found the mob that looks like a lamie with the word Apprentice in her name is a VERY good pet to charm. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Half way in the zone we had to replace our tank so while we waited she was able to hold aggy pretty easy and stand up against the non named heroics with limited healing from our healer. While in the group somone was parseing the fights and she typically came in 2nd place above our warlock for DPS. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyone else know of a good mob to charm for EoF plz post.</DIV>

There was a vampire mob in New Tunaria that would use a vampire touch move on flesh mobs, did about 20k every 10-15 seconds or so <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

<div></div>For soloing in the Loping Plains, I've been using the Chaplain version of the ghost dwarves. Nothing amazing on the damage front - nukes about the same as Whisperwind Mystics from Barren Sky -but we all know how useful a self-healing pet is.Being 63, a lot of the zone around Mistmoore is orange to me, so I haven't tried out any of the vampires near the mauseoleum to see if they're casters.Oh, and the mechnamagica hunter killers in Klak'anon are warlocks, and you can find quite a few of them as solo mobs amongst the heroic mobs (there are a lot in the forge-lava-room-thing to the north). A nice solid pet.<div></div><p>Message Edited by The Dark Savant on <span class=date_text>11-16-2006</span> <span class=time_text>05:22 PM</span>

<DIV>a servant of Mistmoore, or something like that - a green triple up for a lvl 70 in New Tunaria area - doesn't work against sentinels very well, but the Tunarians it does. It seems to get aggro while you are invis, from the Tunarians so it's a situational pet at best I believe. I spilled the beans on this a couple of days ago on BB server - don't Bogart the pets and start posting some damages etc <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

Can't remember the exact name of the pet, was a mistmoore servant maybe? It was like a 2-3 second move it did, but it didn't phase the stone sentry guys, so I'm guessing the target has to either be alive or have flesh maybe... Tore through the elven guards like butter though <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

<DIV>alright, supposed to be some priestess pet lying around somewhere - anyone care to divulge where this pet might be? I play late at night so I need a viable solo pet as 3 in the morning ain't such a prime time for groupage. Thank you in advance <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>Come on, someone spill the beans plz. There must be a "Corpse Candle" somewhere in EoF, i can understand you not wishing to share the infomation but lets be honest about this, its going to take at least 6 months for Sony to fix it heh.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Bonemire, while profitable is getting a bit old :smileyindifferent:</DIV>

<DIV>The one thing I've noticed about the servants of mistmoore in New Tunaria is that they tend to just randomly nuke any tunarian they might be standing close by, without being told to do anything. I think it's part of their script, so when the NPCs walk past them they autonuke and engage combat or something.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It carries over to when they are charmed too, and can make travel kinda funky. Nothing like being killed by 5 ^^^ greys because your pet decided to nuke one as he ran past and aggro them all. You don't even notice until your pet is dead, 5 rooms away, being hit with 1000 damage melee.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I've taken to parking my pet in an area with nothing around until I need him for something, then have him run over. He doesn't seem to aggro anything that way.</DIV>

<DIV>Stoneskin Gargoyles in Loping Plains are great for tanking. If you drop incitement and toss your dps mod on them they do some nice dps. They are slightly hard to control if your subjugation skill sucks because they are 72 +++ heroic.</DIV>
