<div></div><div></div><div></div>Master mez, resistability is 30% on live. Same thing with Dominate. On beta they are now 21%.JUST noticed Aoe Mez went from 9% harder to 3% Easier. This is crazy. So our mez is nerfed BUT with the new eof AA we can bump back up the resistability on Dominate. According to the Dominate AA, the resist rate effects the % chance to break on charm, so now things will break alot more.......This solidifies Illusionists as the better Mind control class, as they get to bump up there mez resist rate via AA's (which they should be complaining about, if there mez resist was nerfed to accomodate this). You can clearly tell the difference when mezzing now. Resists are up more than this 9% change. Apparently they did not get this right in the whole epic enchanter revamp, or with Dof, or with Kos, or with............<div></div><p>Message Edited by nikecmh42 on <span class=date_text>11-10-2006</span> <span class=time_text>06:15 PM</span>

[expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] that's total BS, time to complain on the main boards.<div></div>

<DIV>sigh... instead of having fresh new ideas, they nerfed something in order to create AAs that buff it to it's pre-nerfed state.</DIV>
I may be wrong but haven't a lot of spells been adjusted like this? Now that we can buff our casting skills over cap and it actually does something, then you regain the lost resistability by improving your subjugation. Not that I like it but at least it means all those cast buffs and bonuses on adornments/armour will actually mean something now. <div></div>

I stated this last month when they hacked all our mana spells and boosted them via aa's. That has changed but the %resists are all down. Mezzing in EoF is not like mezzing on live. I'm getting resisted on 1 of 3 casts. AoE mez is horribly worse.</div>

All classes had their resist chance nerfed. Why? Because people complained that buffing dis/subj didn't do much to help your resist chance because nearly 100% of spells landed. That will no longer be the case, and you are welcome to buff it.<div></div>

SOE is always willing to make the game more playable (eg no more shards, easier tradeskills), but our base characters have been getting slightly weaker relative to mobs. Otherwise the addition of AA's would make us too powerful... That's why every live update is perceived as a nerf... We become heroes when we play eq2, but the gods are strong - so we are being manipulated <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div>

You do know that it's been like this since the beta server came up? All resistabilities got lowered across all classes. They choose a week ago to increase how much damage/buffing/etc. on the spellls/abilities back to what they are on live, however they failed to bring the increase of resistability, which needs to be changed back to what it is on live. It's just absolutely crappy that they'd drop resistability on spells and give some classes Achievements to increase them back to normal.

Sadly this is how SOE is working with expansion.Nerfing badly all the game to give an illusion of progress with the new content. :/<div></div>

<P>That's why you cancel your subscriptions, people. SOE don't know what the [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] they are doing and are going crazy with the balance thing. They're so obessed with making each and every class equal and balanced in this game they've destroyed any excitement of progression in any of the classes. Remember the days when you use to get super excited with getting a new ability that would drastically change the way you played your class and made you more powerful? Yeah, EQ2 has none of that. Virtually each and every ability is just a little boost of power with little to no variation. It grows tiring very quickly. And their art department consists of one person, which reflects how the don't care about the aristic side of an MMORPG and why the armors in this game are the worst ever. It's [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] important. I'm cancelling my EQ1 subscription and getting the hell out of here, I dunno why the hell I decided to go back it's just the same old crappy, timesink camps where you gotta wait hours and days to get a spawn. Sigh. </P><p>Message Edited by FlamingDuck on <span class=date_text>11-13-2006</span> <span class=time_text>02:10 AM</span>

<P>One question for the hordes of people freaking out: has anyone actually logged into test and tried this somewhere like Nizara or appreciably difficult to see if it's really the end of the world? </P> <P>Reason I ask is that that have made changes to the base resistability from -10% to -20% (and I don't know if that overall change indicates more or less resists).</P>

<DIV>People on the beta boards have tested OJ mobs including Niz and are reporting it is unplayable numbers like 1 out of 10 landing etc. I can''t remember the exact numbers and Im lazy lol but resists are bad.... This goes for other classes as well mostly casters not just chanters in beta there are many complaints rom wizards etc showing the same type of numbers.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Resists are an issue for sure atm in beta</DIV>

At 70 you 'just' can grind your AA points and have it back. At lower levels its not that easy to get AA points. And at lower levels you are probably more dependent on a working mez then on raids. This take away and give back only 'work' for toons at the level cap, all others will get hurt much more =(<div></div>
