<DIV>A few questions on Coercers : </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>1. If you have very good gear and Adept 3 or Master level on spells, can a coercer solo heroic mobs and do well at just exp grinding solo?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>2. Are they sought after for Raiding Guilds? Will I be perpetually LFG and having to solo or are they asked to group frequently?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>3. What is the fun factor? I have leveled a Templar, Fury, Guardian, Warlock and Wizard to 55+ and really none of them are appealing to me anymore for various reasons..... What is the long term solo and group playability with a coercer?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anything you would like to add would be greatly appreciated.</DIV>

It presents the most challenge and is by far the most busy class you will play. A good Coercer cant be killed, and is never surprised. With patience and keeping your cool you can have 3-4 mobs jump you and if you were any other caster you would be dead, but as a Coercer you root one, AOE charm the others and single target charm as they break. Ive stood in the middle of 4-5 mobs picking them off one at a time without taking a hit once. </FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ffff00></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ffff00>Of course you can have a string of unlucky resists and like any other class... die horribly! <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ffff00></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#ffff00>Try one out, you will love it.</FONT></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anything you would like to add would be greatly appreciated.</DIV><BR> <HR> </BLOCKQUOTE><BR>

<P>Unless you have master charm solo grinding exp not worth it</P> <P>Yes every raiding guild that consider self as serious guild do have at least 1 coercer</P> <P>Fun? Charm <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> </P>

From what I hear you can solo effectively with AD3 charm but it really, really, really helps to have Master. In groups there are certain zones Nizara and Nek 3 that CC is a must and you shouldn't have much trouble getting into raids depending on your server. As far as fun, I think coercer is a pretty fun class you can solo lots of stuff that others can't but there are those "fun" times when your pet breaks in the middle of normal fun and makes it extra special fun<span>:smileyvery-happy:</span> Soloing on my coercer has gotten my warlock killed a lot because I forget that if I get into trouble on my warlock I can't just mez all the mobs for 45 seconds or so and regen power and health.... <div></div>

<DIV>A little de-rail <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV>As it stands now warlock class not capable of soloing AT ALL (unlike wizards)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Key for succefull soloing as coercer (aside of charm that really affect the only thing like Cyene correctly mention - how long it take to kill) isn't charm <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> key is that root... best root in the game</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If you ask yourself what make some classes superior in solo over other classes - answer is on surface ... it is ability deliver damage w/o retaliation. </DIV> <DIV>Once upon time warlocks and wizards had UNBREAKABLE root .... and that made em in that time (between LU7 and LU13) Gods of solo. Nowday problem is lies in fact that both wizards and warlock roots are easy brakable (15% on hostile spell) but while wizards root proc snare after it brakes (danm nice) and wizards damage comes strickly from nukes (aka snare wont brake unless wizard deliver any damage) but warlocks roots proc fear ... but very few warlocks spells aren't dots so go figure ....</DIV>
