Do you mean you have all your buffs up then decide to charm something?

I just right click the buffs to drop in my maintained spells list and cancel if I need an extra slot for charming. Not sure if you could macro dropping buffs or not.

Message Edited by dalessit on 10-15-2006 05:49 AM

Only option is to right click and cancel them. Yes there's a command ... sort of. I searched the commands and there's a /cancelmaintainspell or something, but it does not work at all.

There is no fast way except for 1

Keep you icon bar easy accesible - so you can click off buffs

But in general: in group I dont buff at all: 3 conc for charm, 1 signet, 1 incitement plus of course Hate on tank, 2X Crack - since niether required conc

On Raid: depends on raid population but in general: Hate, Emphatic Aura, 2X Crack, Signet (if I have fury in group I drop it), Incitement + 3X Harm Link (brigand, warlock, wizard - in this order)

Solo if I have melee pet I usually sacrofice Incitement in give pet Impetus

Yes there's a command ... sort of. I searched the commands and there's a /cancelmaintainspell or something, but it does not work at all.

The command works fine, the argument it takes is the maintained spell number. The command is just not practical since that number may change upon zoning (making a UI mod with a cancel button just about impossible). But if you buff up in a known order right after zoning with no other maintained spells up, you will have known numbers for those buffs. Those numbers remain constant until you cancel one of the maintained spells and then zone. So if you keep to that procedure you can set up a working macro for dropping the buffs.I still find it easier to right click->cancel however.
