Hey all,

Just wanted a few ppls opinions on what would be the best one handed (non dmg proc'ing) weapon would be. I'm currently switching grizzlefazzles stick for soul carver for instances like nizara where if im using grizfaz stick and i mez and then the stick procs and breaks the mez = unhealthy or dead coercer.

thoughts please.

As sad as it is, I am using soulcarver too.No mezz-breaking procs and INT and subj = good enough for me :smileyindifferent:

hmm, the proc lands before the mezz and only on a successfull mezz shouldn't break it unless you are debuffing.

It's something with those Nizari snake women. Everytime I go in there I get a rude reminder to strip off my proc earring and grizzlefazzle stick. Sadly I am going to have to just stop using them or very conditionally put them back on since the PvP logic is still the "old way" where any proc's will break mez.

My guess is that there is an automatic "remez" that occurs when it procs and on PVP it doesnt work because of the immunity timer. Perhaps in the snakewomen's case one of their friends has some buff up that makes them immune?

I am still using the 1HB from the godking quest line, the FT 14 is still useful at L70

I have the Shimmering Wand of Glass, when I'm on mezz duty. Otherwise I use my Godking weapon.

I know you said one handed but when mezzing I find the following 2hndr pretty useful

Staff of the Silent Star

http://eq2.ogaming.com/db/items/StaffoftheSilentStar.php

Combat SpecDamage: 60-181 Damage per Second: 96.5 Delay: 2.5 EffectFlowing Thought V - Permanent
Statistics+16 Strength +52 Stamina +58 Intelligence +150 Health +200 Power
Edit: The added benefit is since I am specc'd Int it lets me use Nullifying staff on raids for an addidional Magic debuff.

Cheers

Message Edited by Magool on 10-06-2006 06:21 PM

i use the staff of silent star if im mezzing right now as well and if i have to use a 1 handler its mostly on raid i use the griz stick for lots of procs.. both on the hot bar next to my aa abilities so i can switch easily.

I agree on the Matron fight you need some FT... however EVERYTHING else take the proc dmg wep!!!

We can be bad [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] dps machines if used properly. hint hint procs = your friend!

So I guess I would say, if you can raid, the Chel'Drak one is ELITE. If you can't raid the Grizzlefazzle is the shizzle for rizzle! Max crits and your landing 1000+ nukes left and right.

-Murdox

Ancient Vengeance

Najena

Message Edited by Fingurs on 10-09-2006 12:50 PM

BTW, wand of the tempest = 3 princes, Dagger of the Arcane Rite = Chel'Drak, Staff of the Silent star = [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] eyeball in labs with a super long name. Uulasastus or something..
