Was in Bonemire and going to do mindless killing to get some money on the Ravasect island, go and charm a corpse flame and tell it to attack the first mob. Paying half attention to the fight since the corpse flame takes down the mob usually within a few hits with a Master I charm. After 5 to 10 secs I look up and the fight is still going on, I over look my combat log and this corpse flame never hit above 400 pts of damage when the past it hit for 3 to 6k of damage on it's high damage spell. So curious I possess another corpse flame and it the mob is hitting for what it has listed as it's spells when I looked at them. Then I headed to Barren Sky and charmed one of the guards outside the Vaults and did some testing and it was taking me longer to take down single up mobs then it was before. So I am not sure either the quality of charm has been lessened or the mobs have been changed. Anyone else noticed this as well?

I haven't had a chance to log in and play yet (I had important tv watching to do last night!), but I would think that if it was nerfed that bad, we'd have lots of people here screaming bloody murder. Some confirmation one way or the other couldn't hurt though.

Tested charming a corpse flame again this morning and it is hitting for 5k+, not sure if it was a glitch last night, bugged mob, etc ... but it seems to be working as it always has.

If you used Possession on the mob before charming it (which it sounds like from your post you did), that tends to bug its spells/CAs to do less damage when charmed, regardless of the quality of the charm spell. Yet another reason not to use that spell...

Good news, thanks for the update.

FYI this has also happened to me before when I charmed a Treant. Maybe the charm sometimes gets bugged while charming and only charms at the apprentice I level.

Again, it has nothing to do with charm. It's a problem with Posession, i.e. my M1 Posession makes the mob use crappy spells, when Posess breaks he retains his crappy spells until he dies, whether he's charmed or not.
