Its a fun spell for me. Just fun though.Yes, I use it to make people say "Ohh ahhh that mob is all psycadelic and flashing" or moving see invis mobs outta the way.Total times used from when I got it then to level 70, probably 3 times.<div></div>

I usually just cast it on guards and stuff.Sometimes it is useful to cast on a mob and see what spells they have.<div></div>

<blockquote><hr>Mentla wrote:How does this work then, like conj possess minion?<div></div><hr></blockquote>Sort of, except being able to possess your current pet would actually be more useful than how it is currently. You can only possess a mob that isn't engaged in combat, and when you possess it, it will aggro anything you normally would, so that usually ends up meaning that it's KOS to everything around it. Also, anything that aggros the possessed mob will come straight for you (your character), no matter how far away you are, and if you engage in combat with it, when the spell wears off everything you were fighting--including the possessed mob--will come straight for you no matter how far away you are.Add a few other miscellaneous restrictions like not being able to possess a mob and fight another mob in the same linked encounter, as well as some bugs like your character sometimes assuming the level of the possessed mob (which can make you suddenly aggro to things that were greyed out before), and you can see that it's not that useful a spell. Its only real purpose that I've found is to move true sight mobs out of your path, as long as there isn't anything nearby that would aggro them.

Well here's the short version. 1) Get the master. Makes the spell as strong as your domination/dominate/whatever other master pet spell you're using, plus it breaks less. 2) Go to HoF or Vaults and start using it on the solo mobs in the zone, IE Centurions (esp usefull while pulling the sleeper if there's one with a clear aggro range to the pull point) and the upstairs mobs in Vaults, the name in the last room. 3) And most importantly... Jump something off a cliff. Nothing better. Couple of things I've noticed about the spell While everything turns grey to you, the rest of the group sees the mob that has been pulled as whatever con color it's supposed to be, which means (I think) the possessed mob doesn't recieve exp for the encounter, although you still will. Carefull while possessing something in a group, while you will gain the ability to see through one of the mobs, the other will go after your body first thing as it draws aggro to you. If you can keep him from hitting you with an attack you're golden, if not you have both mobs on you. While this spell doesn't have the usefullness as say Fusion does... we're not wizards. But when I can do crazy amounts of dmg over a short period of time like I can with Possession in certain instances, it falls into the Coercer Class abilities. If you want to do high damage all the time, roll an assassin. If you want to think how to use your class to the best abilities, lvl a Coercer. <div></div>
