illusion other rat and troll, that's it?

Always making my pet a rat gets old and with the scaling of illusions, troll illusion is tough to use as the mobs turn into huge giants 99% of the time.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>On another note, what is the point in our fun spells not working on same level toons? I am in guild with mostly lvl 70 players. I group almost exclusively with guildmates and I think I have managed to use my fun spells one time in the last month. Wouldn't it make sense for coercing fun spells to go through a mental resist check rather than level check?<div></div>

I sure do miss my 500 illusion spells from EQLive.  I don't know why, but running around in skelly illusion rocked; I think it was the fact I turned into a pile of bones when I sat down. <span>:smileyhappy:</span>  I know Necros have a group skelly illusion, but it just isn't the same when you can't cast it yourself.  Also, you'd have your orge tank running around looking all menacing & then POOF he's a gnome.  I am easily amused, I guess.<div></div>

wait.. your target has to be a lower level to use the fun spell on them? like to make them dance, laugh, etc.? That has a nice RP value.. but it doesn't seem worth it to me. <div></div>

The reason fun spells are limited like that is because of all the crying and bleating from the usual bunch of whiners who "didn't want to lose control of their characters" and thought people could grief with it. This was back at launch when fun spells were first discussed. It was not originally intended to limit them in this way. So we are stuck with this useless compromise that isn't fun. <div></div>
