<P>Actually I die 3 time ... always (heh Possesion FTW for 1 fight here...)</P> <P>Dude I can withstand melee attack of my pet for several rounds (raid buffed I have mit/avoidance almost like a monk lol 2600 mit/56% avoidance). Plus since pets are heroic .... mobs are mezable/stunnable. Plus FYI last fight if you have pet from hallway (8 heroic zerkers encounter) goes much smoothly</P> <P>Anyway for a Labs - there is no good pets afaik charmable only blobs (useless)</P> <P>Mark 4 - same zerker type like in LOA mobs FTW</P> <P> </P>
<P>This thread started useful but got sidetracked by [Removed for Content] measurements.</P> <P>I am trying to get my DPS up but struggling to get past 400 consistently. Since we normally get put in the MT group, of which the makeup is fairly consistent between guilds, we should be able to narrow down what it is that makes such a huge difference.</P>

<P>Your DPS heavy relay on your AA spec and on your gear</P> <P>Highest DPS you will get with AGI (Perpentuality) + INT (Criticial Hits) in conjuction with many damage proc on hostile spell gear. Having all above should keep you in range of 800-1000DPS</P> <P>If you are MT coercer it is expected that you support healers with Emphatic Aura (+14% to crit heals) thus you oughta sacrofice either AGI or INT (I choose INT) with Maxed Crits and 2 procing items (Orb of Evocer + Grizz stick) I am pretty much able sustein petless 500-720DPS depending on encounter with sparks of 1K+ in LOA</P> <P>It is good to have "classic" MT group set up that included Dirge who give you spell haste and +7.5% more critical</P> <P>Second most important factor for your DPS if your raid force have brigands - Dispatch is FTW for casters DPS</P>

<P>That's really the key... if you are going to be in the MT group, then you'll likely be stuck with needing to spend at least 16 points on the Stamina line (4, 4, <img src="/smilies/b2eb59423fbf5fa39342041237025880.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> for the heal crit %.</P> <P>After that, you can do whatever for DPS. Int (4, 4, 4 <img src="/smilies/b2eb59423fbf5fa39342041237025880.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> for crits and Agi (4, <img src="/smilies/b2eb59423fbf5fa39342041237025880.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> for 30% spell haste... or Perpetuality full out instead.</P> <P> </P> <P>Oh, also.. average zone DPS is tough to figure out in Lyceum, since we can't name our pets. So the damage done by an allied mob will be hard to track down over the course of the zone.</P> <P>If you want a good indication of Coercer <EM>personal</EM> DPS, then any other raid without charm will pretty much let you know how well we do.</P> <P>I've recently come across more and more fabled, so I spec'd out of the Wisdom line for Int and Agi... so far it's meant a jump from 400 avg DPS in MT group, to ~600 avg DPS. This is personal DPS of course..</P><p>Message Edited by Raidi Sovin'faile on <span class=date_text>09-04-2006</span> <span class=time_text>04:30 PM</span>

<P>yea i went to lyceum other day i got 35 AA so dont have the crits maxed yet but i do have perpentuality i was dpsing roughly around 700-1000 sustained on average!</P> <P>And to know i dont have crits yet.</P> <P>Now the MT coercer has a lotta proc items and has the crit to heal and the agi line fully specced nothing in int line i think but has the hate buff too. She was consistently parsing 1 k to 1400 sometimes like 500 but that was only when she stepped in late she afks a lot during boring raids!</P> <P>anyways coercer = DPS class to me anyways</P>

I rather see numbers from fellow coercers if it is litterly averaged from all fights, not saying on several fights number X, to me there is a big difference in that.

<P>The other problem is that a lot of our DPS is based on reactives... and group based.</P> <P>Against single targets, with mobs that are blue to the MT, and the MT is raid equipped, our DPS is gonna suck... but put us against yellow con stuff with an average tank, and bammo.. DPS through the roof.</P> <P>Basically... if you are finding that a lot of your reactives aren't finished by the time you can recast them, your DPS is gonna be a lot lower than it <STRONG>could</STRONG> be. Also.. zones with lots of groups (lyceum is yet another zone like that), will give us a higher average.</P> <P> </P> <P>With my new job, i've cut back on playing a lot.. so my personal DPS has been limited to Labs... so 600 personal is in that context. I'm sure it could be a higher average in Lyceum. Even higher I could respec to DPS, but who's counting.</P><p>Message Edited by Raidi Sovin'faile on <span class=date_text>09-05-2006</span> <span class=time_text>05:10 PM</span>

<DIV>Our DPS also heavy relay on type of fights</DIV> <DIV>In the labs unless we killing something like Alzid uncaged or Alzid Prime or Corsalander we pretty much screwed because we heavy relay on reactives.... In order to get max performance DPS wise we need either MT get hit a lot (lol not really a case nowdays) or/and mobs have some sort of barrage/aoe attack. If you take out reactives you will left with 3 dots, 1 gimpiest nuke in game and couple moderate AoE with HUGE recast timer (Sonic and Ego)</DIV>

<P>Average dps for lyceum last week.... I posted this so you could not only see where a coercer's average parse should be in lyceum but where you should be as compared to your fellow classes. <DIV>What kind of DPS do you guys see in Labs and Deathtoll?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>ROFL I parse ahead of the healers and that is about it, around 200 dps in both those zones. I am always in the MT or MA group so not getting any real offensive buffs.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I am set up with Wis and Sta AA's and Have Sonic Boom AD3, Auspex M1, Spell Scourge M1 & Marred Psyche M1 For damage.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I do cast gorging thoughts every time it is up for the power regen and throw out stuns here and there + ManaFlow so I am not 100% dps'ing.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I keep my dot's and reactives up and cast the 2 dd spells when they are up, I only cast Sonic Boom when I am 100% sure I am not going to pull adds.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So just wondering how you guys are putting up some of these numbers, I have never been to Lyceum so I don't have those numbers to compare to.</DIV><p>Message Edited by dalessit on <span class=date_text>09-26-2006</span> <span class=time_text>06:21 AM</span>

<DIV>I've got the Agi line (30% cast) and Int line (11% crit) so I'm parsing a chunk better than I used to with the Wis AA line. Now that I have masters for my control spells, and lots of resists gear/fabled, I don't need that Wis line anymore.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So last time I did deathtoll, I was parsing as high as 700-800 DPS (personal, extDPS just tells you how quick on the draw you are). On average for the zone I only parsed just under 500, but that had to do with lots of little dinky encounters that died too fast for my DPS to really kick in... or where the MT rarely got hit (loss of reactive damage).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Oh, and this was in the MT group. We had a Pally MT with Amends on a Wizard, so I was getting some wizard group buffs.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'd imagine that if I completed the claymore line, and maybe grabbed a few extra fabled drops, I could get some more proc gear and parse in the 1k region on the high end. Even better (or more reliably) if I spec'd AAs purely for damage, and was put in a DPS group (troub, casters, etc).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>However, I'm still brought to the raid for my regen and hate management. This would just be icing.</DIV>
