The situation is: We have 2 encounters...one ^^^ mob and 3^ mobs. The same could be with a ^^^ named, who has got some ^pets. What is the best solution? mezzing ^^^ mob and kill the other encounter/pets first?

Honestly mezzing ingroups is almost never needed, so skipp that.

If there are 2 encounters near each other, imho it is better to use stunns, than mezz. Most tanks shouldbe able to tank 2 encounters, and most single healers should be able to solo heal 2 encounters.

If there is a nasty named, mezzing this one is a good option, and kil the rest, when all are ready kill the named, however a good tank/healer should still do there job with a named and an other encounter on top of it.

If it's a single encounter with a triple up named and lots of adds linked, I will mez the named and kill the adds first if I am soloing in Nest for example. If it's two encounters with a named and a group of three single up mobs I would probably mez the named, charm a single up mob, kill that encounter and use the last single up mob to tank or DPS the named depending on what type of mob it is.

Both way is valid... As I guessing you are talking about Nizara fire elemetnal and 4 snakes

Both way valid - I found its more easy to mez named and AOE mez snake then kill snakes 1 by 1 and deal with named in the end since his AOE is pos as long as you not come to close

Outside of Nizara? well dont bother with mez just use AOE stun (you have 2 of em) by time your second AOE stun ware off adds should be dead
