<DIV>Hi there I recently made a coercer because it intrigues me, one thing I am wondering though is once I have a pet how do I control it so that it doesn't just auto attack any mob that's attacking me... Is there no pet bar or way to make it passive and what not so I can have some control over what it does.  Any information you can post on this would be helpful and I would be quite grateful :smileyhappy:  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Cheers</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Edit:  You can ignore this post, my pet bar was hidden so I just hit alt+p and it popped up... yes I am a noob <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV><p>Message Edited by Futilexxx on <span class=date_text>08-21-2006</span> <span class=time_text>12:11 PM</span>

<DIV>Welcome to EQ2 glad you found the pet controls also a good macro you can make is</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>/pet backoff</DIV> <DIV>/pet preserve_master</DIV> <DIV>/pet preserve_self</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>This way if you pull you pet off  a mob it was auto defend you and itself again.. Some hate this but I love it!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The reason I use this is  because you when tell you pet to back off it turns of his def for you and him and it only gets turned back on if you hit it.. so lets say you hit backoff and the next fight you send your pet into is a group after the first one dies your pet will just run back to you and not switch targets. but with this macro setup it turns it back on right when you hit backoff</DIV><p>Message Edited by latrocinor on <span class=date_text>08-21-2006</span> <span class=time_text>04:34 PM</span>
