Newbie pet question

Hello,o.k, I can charm enemies for a while. But how do I get an actual "long term pet" on my side? A pet, with whom I can fight and travel around?would be nice to know!<div></div>

Never tried to zone with a chrmed pet, but if you grif with one, it will stay with ya..so when ya get in the zone go find yourself that nice pet to charm, and show up those teeny books the illusionists are totin. <div></div>
