I'm having trouble soloing heroics. I try to keep the mob stunned while my pet does the damage (I have M1 beguile), but when I run in to use psychic wail I get hit. Sometimes after my stuns go and the mob is rooted, it still damages pet. So anyone capable of soloing heroics, what spells do you cast in what order? What is the trick? How do you keep your pet and you from being damaged?champion pumpkin of fall57 coercer55 woodworkernagafen<div></div>

<P>There's a lot of good tactics that become possible only once you get into your high 60s, or level 70.</P> <P>Might be harder at 57 though. My tactics back then were the same as back when I was in my 30s... find a decent pet that can heal himself and has decent survivability, then try and keep the enemy stunned/stifled/dazed/etc, as much as possible. Use mez or root and backing off pet is crucial on named, since the pet cannot really handle toe to toe against hard hitting named for that long.</P>

You gotta learn the right time to back off your pet to maximize your pet's efficency. Sometimes you gotta do it afew times a fight. i usually only back it off once all 3 of my stuns are down (single target, group, and then daze), let the stuns come back up, and then sic pet again. Takes practice but you'll get the hang of it.

<DIV>Easiest way I have found has been discussed in the forums already:  Find a good caster pet, and fight a non-caster mob.  With a pet that does good casting dps - use the attack/back off/attack/backoff method so they only cast and do not charge in.  While you are doing that with your pet - cast mez, root, stuns (if you want), but mainly root and mez.  Using that method you can take down any ^^^ that is 4 lvls higher than you or lower.  Ex. I could take Siphon down (lvl 49^^^ named tarantula in Sinking Sands) when I was lvl 45 using a ghoul as a pet.   Granted I had master root and mez which helped. I am only lvl 50 now...so I don't know if things change in the higher lvls.  </DIV>

<DIV>Send pet, debuff, than cast all stunns in perfect oreder, (us the shortest stun as alast)</DIV> <DIV>When you cast the shortest stunn, back of pet, and throw in a root, when the dots has been expired of the pet, throw in a mezz, debuff stunn/send in pet rince repeat.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>This is the safest way to kill heriocs. (although it takes alot of time)</DIV>

<DIV>Depend if you fighting caster/none caster and stunable/stun-immune heroic</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>But in general time you stuns, stifles and dazes - it is still possible to keep mob 100% of combat incapable of retaliation (as long as mob not stun immune and many T7 named heroic are)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
